Nothing Bundt Cakes — Restaurant in Kyle

My wife and I were excited to visit the new Nothing Bundt Cakes location in Kyle, especially since it’s so close to our home. We arrived at 12:13 pm, just a little over an hour after they opened at 11 am, eager to try their seasonal Pumpkin Spice cake. However, to our disappointment, we were told they had already run out.

The young staff member explained that they had Pumpkin Spice cakes available all month long, but it’s frustrating that they were sold out so soon after opening. This location is brand new, so I would expect them to be more prepared for customer demand, especially on a weekend. Having to drive to Austin just to get the flavor we were looking forward to defeats the purpose of having a closer location.

A new location always gives cause for caution. Will it be a good example of the business or will you regret stepping through a portal to incompetence? This was an Exceptional experience! Two people in line and as a third customer comes in to the store a second employee steps from the back and opened a second register and started helping the next person inline, without an attitude. I know that sounds logical and a standard in every training manual in the world, but too often it is not the standard. This person was nice, fast & managed to provide a quick little personal back and forth while bagging the order and as soon as the transaction was over she moved onto the next...

I stopped by Nothing Bundt Cakes in Kyle, and let me just say — no other bakery around even comes close! Their cakes are melt-in-your-mouth amazing, and the variety of flavors had me feeling like a kid in a candy store (except better, because… cake!).

But the real icing on the cake? Carolyn! She’s the sweetest soul — so friendly and inviting that I almost forgot I was there for dessert and not just to hang out with her. If you’re craving something sweet or just need a reason to smile, this place is a must-visit. Trust me, your taste buds...
