*edit* so we went back a second time and everything was fantastic! The meat pies were again spot on. This time I got the cherry crumble for desert and they nailed it. It was delicious! Original Post: We heard this was a great place to go so we checked it out. Inside seating is a little limited but the turnaround on tables seems to be pretty good. Outside seating is available. Service was really great and we got our food really quick. When the meat pie came, it came in a slice which is not what I expected but is okay. It was shaped well and stood up well. The crust was nice and flakey and what I would expect from a pie speciality shop. I got the brisket Mac and cheese and it was really good. My wife got the steak and was equally as happy. Comes with a salad and was pretty good especially for the price you pay. The downside was the desert pie. It came with icecream and is only $10 so I shouldn’t complain but… your a pie place. It came flat, didn’t hold its shape and wasn’t cooked long enough. It was a little doughy. With that said it was still pretty good, it just made me leave with my head scratching how they could mess up the desert but nail the main. 🤷‍♂️ I’ll go back again and try a different flavor of pie and see if they can get that right. The main is worth the trip back.

La Conner just got a new gem, and we were lucky enough to be the very first patrons when The Pie Dive Bar opened its doors on September 20th! My wife and I have been following Luke’s journey as he’s been lovingly refurbishing this cozy spot on the waterfront, and let me tell you—it was absolutely worth the wait. We started with the Shepherd’s Pie, and it was nothing short of incredible. Comfort food elevated—rich, hearty, and bursting with flavor in every bite. For dessert, we shared a slice of the “Humble Crumble” pie, and it lived up to its name in the most delicious way possible. Perfectly balanced, not too sweet, and the kind of dessert you savor slowly just to make it last. The service was top-notch, warm, and welcoming. You can really feel the family atmosphere they’ve created—it’s the kind of place where you walk in as a guest and leave feeling like part of the family. And the location? Right on the La Conner waterfront. You can’t beat the view, the vibe, or the experience. If you’re looking for your new favorite spot in La Conner, this is it. A heartfelt congratulations to Luke and his team—The Pie Dive Bar is off to an amazing start, and we can’t wait to come back!

Great little spot on the boardwalk in La Conner, Washington! It is located about halfway along the boardwalk. Inside is small, but warm and cozy. There is a lot of seating choices on the deck also, with a counter and window for walk up ordering. Luke and Owen are very friendly and enjoy talking to their guests, and make you feel right at home. The pies are un-freaking-believeable! Homemade pie crust is worthy of eating backwards (starting with the outside edge). I enjoyed the Thankgiving pie. It was moist and filled with flavor, but not too much seasoning. It was served with a small side salad and cranberries. I brought my husband home a piece of apple crumble pie, and he said it was really good! So glad I live in La Conner and can visit Pie Dive often!

Pie Dive Bar is hands-down one of the best spots I’ve ever been to. From the second you walk in, you feel the energy — it’s warm, welcoming, and just fun.

But what really makes this place special is Luke and the incredible team behind the bar. Luke absolutely crushed it — the kind of service that makes you feel like you’ve been friends for years. He’s got that perfect mix of chill confidence and genuine care. Drinks were on point, fast, and perfectly made every time.

You can tell Luke really loves what he does — he brings the whole room to life. He checks in without hovering, keeps everyone smiling, and sets the vibe for the whole night. It’s rare to find service that feels this personal and effortless at the same time.

The drinks were top-tier, the music was bumping, and the crowd was exactly what you’d hope for — good people just enjoying good times.

If you’re in La Conner and haven’t been to Pie Dive Bar, you’re missing out. And when you go, make sure you ask for Luke — he’s a legend behind...
