I ended up here completely on accident and by chance and am so happy I did. They're making some magic here. All at the table we're so quiet once the food came out because we were all in the moment with our dishes, savoring every bite. I usually takes pics, but everything was so delicious, we all totally forgot (our table got the dry-aged cut of the day, halibut and the bouillabaisse- all seasoned and cooked to perfection).

Some things to keep in mind:

This place takes time (i.e. you'll be here for 1.5-2hours). Everything is made to order, which takes time. Plan for this going in and order some small plates to enjoy while you wait.

-The menu is small; there are about 4-5 apps and just a few more entrees than that to choose from (please also note that this may not be the place for you if you neeed vegetarian/vegan options- i noticed one vegetarian entree on the menu). However, they execute with perfection (everything on the menu seems to be like the right choice).

Something I noticed on the reviews (after-the-fact) was on attention from the waitstaff. This is a small restaurant in a small town that's typically only busy during tourist seasons/festivals. I made the mistake of finding myself here during tulip festival time, but it was eye-opening. I don't think it's the norm for them to be slammed every single day/night so, understandably, their staff is small. But, they were hustling their butts off and doing it all with attention-to-detail and warmth. Please keep in mind that if it's a busy event/festival/other touristy season, your waitstaff/chef are on it, so enjoy the opportunity for excellent conversation with your guests...

I don't usually write poor reviews but I feel I need to warn others off from this place. We were there on a Wednesday night and the place was fairly busy. We ordered at 7:30 and received our food around 9. We were going to order burgers but the were out. (a first) We ended up with a variety of other items each costing at least $35. There is no bread or salad included with the dinners and even though we waited an hour and a half the manager never offered us anything. I ordered a coke which came in a small thin glass which a single can could have filled several times. After refilling it twice, the waitress told be they were out of coke (also a first) and didn't offer any substitute. My friend ordered shrimp and grits and the grits were cold. If you are wondering if the food was good enough to make up for the terrible service (and we really cut these guys some covid slack) it did not. The total bill came to about $200 and we couldn't wait to get out of there. As we were about to get our meal the manager did come around and tell us that we should be happy about waiting soo long because everything was being made by hand. He was wrong. That was the worst dining experience of my life. (As I write this I am also writing a good review for Sliders Cafe in La Connor where we went the next morning for breakfast and had...

I don't even know what to say... this is the WORST place I have ever ate at my whole life. Worst part is the pretentious attitude, other super fake customers, poorly knocked off food, and ridiculous prices. I would highly advice against this place unless your taste buds are dead or a local. There is ONE vegetarian option and they couldn't make anything else - disgusting mushroom dish without flavor. I have no issues with paying high prices for food that tantalizes my buds or worth the price but this place doesn't even salt food (that's the only condiment on the table so I should have known). I had to ask for hot sauce and even that didn't fix it because other 2 essentials - garlic and cheese was still missing. The waitress boxed up my whole meal, placed the bill by a white male, and took my card vs asking what was wrong or apologizing to minority females having to work and pay their way through life in 2023 - ignorance is bliss here!!! $10 Taco Bell came to the rescue after wasting $200, effort researching this place with not genuine reviews (goes with the theme), gas, and drive time on dark back roads supporting new...

It's just okay. I think it's expensive for the quality of the food and the ... whatever atmosphere it's going for. I think it's supposed to be a bit higher end with a nautical theme? Our food just took a long time, and our entrees weren't amazing. For a while, we were the only 2 ordering food, so you'd think it would be easy enough to make our dishes. My spouse ordered the 10 oz ribeye with mashed potatoes and broccolini, and he said his ribeye didn't seem like 10 oz. (He himself cooks and has worked in kitchens for a long time, so he's good at eyeballing ingredients.) My pasta, the actual noodles, just tasted ... like noodles. I'm not even sure if the pasta water was salted. It definitely didn't take on any sauce, but the "sauce" was more chopped up tomatoes and onions and not very saucy. A couple of the clams and mussels tasted quite fishy, and the shrimp were overdone. On the bright side, the baked brie was an excellent appetizer, and we were happy to find a wine that my spouse actually liked! Our server/the hostess was nice, too.

We tried this place out because we were curious and it was worth the stop. We started out with hush puppies, which were really good, and a salad. The salad was good except it was three big leaves of romaine that you had to cut up. So you had to work at your salad to eat it. For the main course, I had their 10 oz steak. That was pretty good. The corn on the other hand was odd. It had this floral taste to it that I couldn’t place and just didn’t care for it at all. The pork belly with collard greens were good except the greens were salty. So combine that with the pork and the dish was just a bit too salty. Overall, it was a decent meal and was worth the stop.

Absolutely spectacular service, location, and food. Came here on a cold and rainy night and sat outside by the fire. Our server brought us blankets and helped us order. We tried the clam chowder and baked Brie and both were fantastic. Met the chef/owner for a second and she seemed very nice. Also I can't express to you how much I appreciate clean beer lines. I ordered an IPA and I could tell this place takes care of their tap system. Plus this was a super bitter IPA which a place like this should have- it really cut through the fat of the meal and was perfectly paired. Can't wait to go back.
