This was a disappointment to sat the least. We travel all over the country and like the idea of drive in. We know what to expect at a drive in. The management here needs to take a break and review the manner in which the food is served, and the customers are addressed. Eliminate the word NO from the service staff. NO additional tray. Only one tray per vehicle. Where are the rest of the vehicle passengers supposed to hold their drink, their burger, their fires, their onion rings? Provide an additional tray so we do not have to hold everything or depend on the driver to hand everything back and forth to the rest of the passengers and then take it back to place it on the ONLY tray we were allowed to have. After all, the place was anything but full. I am sure there was another tray inside that would have solved the issue. But, NO apparently was the word of the day. NO credit cards. Make it easily noticeable for those of us not carrying cash, which is the vast majority of todays population. Charge me the unfair percentage if you must but eliminate the cash transaction, and make it clear as we drive up. We would have paid for refills and would have purchased 2 desserts. NO free refills. This has become the norm and the exceptions to the rule stick out like a sore thumb. Yes, there is a cost associated with this but we are already charged an exuberant for the small portion of the burger, fries and onions, and the drinks arrive in very think glassware that may look like a good quantity but it is not. We ended up having to leave the car and get cash fm an ATM. NO credit cards. Once the food was delivered, we ended up leaving our car and eating at a table. NO extra tray. We left disappointed with...
Read moreRudyâs Drive-In isnât just a place to grab a quick meal. Itâs an experience. You walk in, thinking youâre just getting a chili dog, and walk out questioning if youâve just discovered the meaning of life.
Letâs start with the chili dogs. These arenât just any chili dogsâtheyâre destiny on a bun. The chili is thick, hearty, and so flavorful, it should probably be served on a throne. The hot dog itself? It's like the BeyoncĂ© of hot dogsâjuicy, snappy, and totally confident in its role as the star of the show. Every bite feels like a VIP experience, like this chili dog was made just for you.
Then, the fries. Oh boy, the fries. If fries were a competition, Rudyâs fries would be the reigning champion, world-record holder, and ultimate winner of everything. Theyâre perfectly crispy, golden, and salty, and youâll find yourself saying, âIâll just have one more...â until the basket is gone and youâre considering a career change because these fries should be your full-time job.
But the real magic? Rudyâs World Famous Root Beer. This stuff is like if soda and happiness had a baby. Itâs fizzy, sweet, and so smooth it feels like itâs being poured directly into your soul. Youâll sip it and wonder how in the world root beer can be this good. Itâs so perfect, I might just start calling it my âspiritual drink.â
Combine the chili dog, fries, and root beer, and youâve got a trifecta of greatness. Rudyâs doesnât just fill you upâthey transform you. Youâll leave with a full stomach and a heart full of joy, as if youâve been touched by a fast food angel.
Rudyâs, youâve ruined all other chili dogs for me. But you know what? Iâm okay with it. Just donât...

It usually has the air conditioning on. They are usually open from the end of April or beginning of may to the end of September or sometimes the beginning of October. So it is seasonal. They usually have deals just check on their board outside or check inside on their walls in the booths. They are moderately priced. There is an ATM there because you can't use your card. But it is a must go when they are open. There is a boost Mobile store and little ceasers on the same block bars and restaurants near by. Also a gas station close by.
