Charley's Pizza Parlor — Restaurant in La Follette

This last weekend, we went to Charley's Pizza Parlor, in Jacksboro, TN after a TMSAA Championship Football game. There were around 40 people in our Group, half of which were part of the football team. Charley's received our entire group with room to spare for more people to come in. Their servers were really helpful and friendly, it did take time to get everyone's orders individually but I am not sure that they were entirely ready to receive a party of 40, but they made it work and they did well. More than half of us ordered the Salad bar and the pizzas were flowing to all of our table. This was my first time to eat at Charley's whereas my Girlfriend and her BFF plus the kids had all been there before. My Girlfriend and her BFF ordered the Lasagna and the Salad Bar. I ordered the BBQ Chicken Pizza without Bacon but added Onions. The pizza was delicious and so was my Girlfriend Lasagna too. Of course I have some of my Girlfriend salad to hold me until the food we ordered came. Besides that, the Kids ordered a Giant 17 inch Pepperoni with Extra Cheese pizza. There were 5 other tables that ordered the same. As I said before, more that half the party did get the Salad bar as well. Additionally, the Sweet Tea was good too. Charley's also orders Pizza by the Slice. Along with a variety of Sandwiches as well as Wings. Their restaurant is clean, plenty of parking, Wheelchair accessible as well, and The Staff are...

I went there to eat and they had no pizza up but old old pizza that was under the warmer it was 3:02 pm on a saturday and they did not put any pizza up I paid for buffet and kept asking them to put cheese pizza and a taco pizza up the waitresses walked on by us. Then they start taking down the pizza up there spraying it cleaning it ignored me again I had to ask another waitress what is going on and they said they quit having buffet on weekends at 4 pm since when I've been coming there for years there should be signs posted I said then the waitress made a sign by writing on permanent marker after the fact they brought one med pizza out and they did not give us what we paid for and I felt like they should have cared more they ignored me and I didn't like how I was treated that day but the simple fact is they never let me know upfront or nothing. That is not right and its Charley's all you can eat buffet of pizza I didn't get the service I paid for. But usually i have better reviews but lately that place is going down hill and since you took it away throughout the weekends your business will fail no one can do it through the week much cause people work whether you are trying to save money and half the time you got tons of workers you got usually a bunch scatter brained standing around while 1 or 2 are working their butts off and they answer the phone hey and not charleys pizza so please address this because...

I really want to like this place. The food is great ... the table staff are sweet. But I do wish someone would teach them how to use a cash register.... No matter what I order (and it's usually just a cheeseburger and fries), my order comes to $21.

By contrast, if I go in and order a cheeseburger, fries, a plate of spaghetti and a reuben, my order also comes to $21. I think they try and charge everyone buffet price + drink, regardless of whether you only came in the order off the menu.

And they absolutely will not work with you try and figure out why. Tired of this.

Update 16-Apr-2024: Thr new batch of cooks have ruined the deli sandwiches, and cook all burgers to the consistency of charcoal. Additionally, New wait staff don't know the difference between pork and beef. "No, we don't serve any pork. Everything we have is beef," despite having ham, pastrami, bacon and other pork on the menu.
