Last Friday,my husband and I decided to go to Applebee's for happy hour we been there before ,before happy hour and we had lunch and it was great so we decided to revisit what a bad decision when we went there I ordered a Arctic ice beverage off the happy hour menu I found a hair in my drink I asked the bartender if he can make me another one because I found a hair in the drink it was no problem however when he came back with my second drink it was a green drink and I don't know what was in it. What I ordered was supposed to be blue so when I told the bartender that this is not the same as the first one he got an attitude with me and asked me what's wrong with it just tell me what's wrong with it you told me it was a hair in the first one so I made you another one the same way now what's wrong with it so I kind of felt like be had an attitude and I held my peace and our kindly asked if he make me a different type of drink however he took the drink and said I don't understand what's wrong with it.first of all the drink that are ordered was supposed to be blue in this is green now I know I'm not colorblind but I know the drinks were two different type of colors. I shouldn't have to explain about something I'm paying for. then we had ordered the spinach and artichoke dip well I got that and it was cold it was cold what type of service are you guys giving here I talk to the manager I told the manager what the bartender did and also that the food was cold and she kindly went back there heat up my dip and went and talked to the bartender well when the bartender came back to bring us our entrees he put his arm all over our food and when he was talking to us he was hovering over me where I feel like I was not having any type of personal space I love Applebee's but I will not I will not go back to that Applebee's on Imperial in the city of La Habra ever again it was a bad experience if I ever go back it's going to be before happy hour begins which will be the first shift employees and not the second shift employees because somehow someway it seems as if the bartender from the second shift employees have a bad attitude and I am not feeling it I could have got an attitude right along with him but instead we left very...
Read moreEyelash in my shark bowl cocktail 2. Asked 3 times for ranch before receiving it 3. Ordered a Chicken tender salad which somehow triggered the only food allergy I have (seafood) causing me to throw up onto my salad due to the restroom being across the restaurant from me which was too far. I assume some cross contamination occurred as neither me nor my friend ordered seafood (only onion rings, chicken tenders salad, and a burger) I also only had one drink so there's no way it was the alcohol. 4. They did immediately clear the bowl I had gotten sick in (I didn't want to just get sick on the floor or table so the bowl was my only option) they instead left it there while they watched us pay, they also made no attempt to help me clean up the mess so it ended up all over me/the table anyway due to the lack of napkins and help. 5. They only comped the drink with the eyelash in it but not the meal that made me sick that I didn't even get to eat completely. 6. When checking out you must use the device at the table which showed us one set of prices and then after we divided our check by amount some how there was still money owed and when it showed us the prices on our receipt again $3 drinks were almost $7 and a $8 drink was suddenly $10.99 and they stood there and made us pay the increased price despite making us sick/eyelashes in drinks/delayed service/and system errors. It is not in our nature to make a scene, I even cleaned up my sick mess despite there not being any napkins on the table and hanging to ask for more however making us pay for that experience while I was in shock from a sudden allergic reaction causing me to lose my entire meal was pretty awful. Will not be...
Read moreAfter several months of driving to the OC from West Whittier to eat at this location because of the food and great service, on this day we had left a doctor's appointment at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center near Beverly Hills because we wanted to eat at this location. Today was very disappointing when it comes to the Server. There were only 3 tables occupied, we had closed our menus and placed them on the edge of the table with the intent to imply that we were ready to order. The Server was standing about 6 to 8 feet away from our table chatting with another patron, glanced at us on a couple of occasions but continued to chat. We were on the verge of getting up and leaving when she approached our table after ignoring us for a some time. The Server took our order, brought the food returned with some additional salad dressing that my wife requested at the time of ordering. My empty ice tea glass sat at the edge for quite some time. I was in the process of trying to order a refill on the wireless device on the table when the Server arrived with our bill and I requested a refill. I finished my meal, asked for a container to take my half glass of ice tea, I had already paid on the device including a 20% tip and we left. I owned a restaurant/nightclub at Universal Studios Citywalk for 11 years so I do know when Servers don't care about the patrons. I didn't tolerate that type of behavior. I'm sure that there was no Manager on duty today. I am sure that we won't be back to this location for a very long time. Best of luck...
