OMG, YUM...Best fresh deep dish pizza (Detroit style) around here. In slices or whole pie. Gluten Free pizza available, which is what I had. High quality ingredients all around at this place. Really good organic fresh made salads to go too. Good portion sizes. The two of us ordered 1 salad and 1 whole pizza. We got through half the salad and 1 slice only each, whi h is half the pizza pie. Had rest of it next day for lunch, so good portion size and thus good value. They have amazing looking bagels with all the fixins, fresh baked goods, and its also a Cafe with high end barrista bar where they serve Chai, Mocha, its called Syllable coffee. Run, don’t walk to La Marea! I had been following them on social media for a while, drooling at every post. I have been waiting to get my butt there and finally did today and let me tell you, it was worth the wait! I ordered the farmers market bagel and every bite was a symphony in my mouth. After the first bite, I needed to take a minute for myself and close my eyes. I can’t explain to you how delicious my bagels was. I also got it very yummy golden milk from the coffee stand inside. I can’t wait to take my husband here so we can try the pizzas next! I am honestly counting down the minutes until...

We tried the tuna and salmon bagel. The tuna was perfectly balanced with bits of Fennell, dill and Calabrese chillies on a hand made bagel. The Salmon had lemon zest with pickled onions. The cook definitely knew how to balance the flavors perfectly! The latte and cappuccino had beautiful art and paired perfectly with the bagels. Wish we had time to order more (the pizza looked devine), but just gives us a reason to come back...
