On Christmas Day, I visited Waffle House and ordered an All-Star breakfast to go, specifically requesting hashbrowns with cheese and chili. I prepaid for my meal and, embracing the holiday spirit, left a generous 200% tip, as I typically do in the service industry. I waited approximately 25 minutes before the manager approached me, explaining that jalapeño peppers had been mistakenly added to my hashbrowns. I politely requested a remake without jalapeños, to which the manager responded that it would take additional time. After another 15 minutes, the employee who took my order informed me that gravy had been added instead of chili and asked if I would accept the hashbrowns with gravy. Aiming to avoid further delays, I agreed to take them as they were. However, contrary to my acceptance, the employee proceeded to add chili on top of the gravy, disregarding my consent to the existing mistake. To prevent further conflict on Christmas Day, I chose to accept the incorrect order and left the establishment. This experience was profoundly frustrating. Despite my simple request for hashbrowns with cheese and chili, the order was mishandled multiple times, and my preferences were overlooked. The lack of attention to detail and disregard for customer satisfaction were evident. Given this encounter, I do not plan to return to this Waffle House location. While I understand that working on a holiday can be challenging, it should not compromise the quality of service provided to customers who are paying for a...
Read moreThe only good thing about this waffle house was Brittany, our waitress who was extremely patient and sweet. Last night, Feb 19, 2023, we came in with a party of eight and wanted to sit in two booths back to back. But the tables were dirty, despite nobody being there. So we had to have them cleaned off. The table where I sat, smelled like wet dog. It was disgusting. When our order was taken, Brittany told the cook our order and I could literally hear him complaining about having to cook for so many people at one time. And he kept looking at us and cutting his eyes in our direction. Rude! If our little party upset him, imagine what he does at breakfast/lunch hour when it is most busy! To add, everyone's food came in pieces over a period of 25 minutes AT LEAST. I recieved my eggs first. Ten minutes later, my waffle, and they nearly forgot my bacon. It came well after I had already finished eating! And worse, it was mostly burnt to a crisp. My father also told me his hashbrowns were way over cooked. For someone who didn't want to cook for us, it's amazing he even managed to leave it on the griddle long enough to cook at all let alone overcook it! I am never going back to this waffle house. Outside of Brittany, it's an awful location to eat at. If I hadn't already had great experiences with other waffle houses over the years, I would NEVER return to another Waffle House again after...
Read moreThe Waffle House is always a great place to grab something to eat! I love love love the waffles but honey....those sausage hashbrown/grits bowls are MUTHATRUCKING AMAZING!😵💫 Usually I get the hashbrown bowl with gravy and sauteed onions but this weekend when I saw the grits option I had to try it(without the gravy and onions of course) and of course it was dam am good😋I think I prefer the grits over the hashbrowns. I've had bariatric surgery so I didn't and couldn't eat it ALL in one setting but I did get 1 late-night dinner, 1 breakfast, 1 lunch and 1 dinner out of it and probably could have gotten 1 more late night dinner out of it if I wouldn't have over did it on the 1st one🤦🏾♀️🤷🏾♀️I should tell you that we also experienced great costumer service and the cook did his thang. The restaurant was also clean however, there was a lil scent of sewage in the air which almost made me change my mind about the food but I knew I'd be taking a chance of getting horrible service and mediocre food🤷🏾♀️👍🏾 Go to Waffle House, have patience, eat the food...
