We don't have a Whataburger in our hometown, so we always get excited when visiting a city where they have one. This particular location had two drive thru lines. One pulled up to the drive thru window and the other pulled up to designated spots one lane over. We were in the lane that pulled around to the designated spots. We were a little confused at first because we were prepared to merge into one lane like most drive thrus, but the lane lines seemed to point you to stay in your original lane. We didn't see any signs or markings indicating what exactly to do so we just followed suit of what the person did ahead of us. Our lane moved much slower than the lane pulling up to the drive thru window. Serveral people who ordered after us were served before us. But eventually, an employee came out with a tablet to collect our money. Service was a little slow, but it was to be expected since they were a little busy. When the employee came out for us to pay, she did bring our drinks out to us to sip on while we waited on our food. When we did get our food, our order was correct on the receipt, but the actual burger was incorrect. We asked for the burger to have cheese and ketchup only, but it had tomato and mustard as well. We pulled back around and ran inside, everyone seemed very pleasant, polite and apologetic and quickly corrected our order. Read moreSo, I waited in the drive through lane about 40 minutes about 11pm after a LONG stressful day. We ordered $24 of food. Drove 15 miles back home and finally sit down to eat and one of the 3 whataburgers did not have any meat. How do you forget to put MEAT in a cheeseburger?? I called and spoke with a manager who told me next time I am there, they will replace the burger. He did not care whatsoever about the time I spent in the drive thru lane, or the fact that it is a 30 mile drive there & back, or that I was now without dinner. He was dismissive. So, I drove back there, went in the restaurant, and asked for my money back. After speaking with the General Manager and waiting at least 20 more minutes, I finally got my $7 back..which they did not want to give me. To be blunt, this is a ghetto location...ALWAYS filthy and the employees need to take classes on how to treat their customers. Trust me, skip this location - unless you are ok waiting in a long line, getting burgers with no meat, and walking on nasty, dirty, slippery floors only to sit at a table that looks like it hasn't been cleaned in a month. They kept asking the name for the order and we continued to give them the name, which they got it wrong on the order which I can understand speaking in speaker at the drive thru. Well we made it to the window. The cashier at the window wasn’t pleasant at all. I told her what my name was on the order so we could get the right food. Well she said it didn’t matter. I told her it does. She continued to say it doesn’t matter very rudely and hurried and handed off our food and closed the window. Well she didn’t give us our change. 9.00 dollars. We drove back to get it. Which she was very impolite saying what you want me to do chase you down? She came to hand us our money dropping our change on the floor, and walked off. She was very rude. I spoke to her manager name Jennifer she said she would pull her in the back office. I will see what happens. which another employee said she’s gotten complaints before. .
