I came here to find some good Mexican food and based upon their four stars arrived for lunch via the drive-thru (surprise!). Maybe that should have been a warning. Their menu was enormous, the prices not cheap. Only two cars ahead of me, so I ordered my favorite, cheese enchilada combo, and didn't have to wait long. The girl at the window was very polite. She gave me the bag with the food and I pulled over into a parking spot to eat. I opened the bag and saw sauce had spilled out of the container and into the bag. Sauce everywhere inside. I opened my car door and placed the bag on the ground, removing the container and placing it on the bag to catch any drips. The sauce was brown (?) and a bit spicy. Already I'm not happy about that. The beans were the typical refried beans. Just like you get out of a can. Very dry with a sprinkling of dried cheese on it. Ugh. One taste confirmed it. Dry. No taste. Salt would have improved it, but only slightly. The rice was unimpressive. No flavor, very close to dry. There was a mass of shredded iceberg lettuce on top of the enchiladas. I think there were four flat, folded over tortillas and they had melted cheese in them. They were drenched in that unappealing, slightly spicy brown sauce. The one star is for the cheese in the enchiladas. A hand-made sign on the menu board said they only use fresh eggs, so that had given me hope that they try hard to provide a quality product. Alas, I won't be back and definitely cannot...
Read moreThe portions are huge. You're definitely going to get what you pay for. My favorite are the fish tacos and the super nachos. The restaurant clean for the most part, but sometimes it can be a bit messy due to customer traffic. It's not gourmet quality, however, it does have flavor. They have a nice selection of salsas and grilled jalapeno.
EDIT: This place used to be amazing. I recently went there and the food was a disaster. The tortillas that they severed my tacos in were stale and reheated. The fish that they used was also old and refried. Very burnt. They tried to hide the fish under a mountain of veggies that were also a day old. The tomatoes had darkened and the shredded cabbage was stale and withered. The amount of sauce that used to be plentiful; was now just a trickle. What they served looked and tasted like someone else's food from a day ago. Will not go back. EDIT: Oh man, why did I go back? LOL. It's been a year later and I went in last night to get something to eat. I ended up getting Super Nachos, a Torta, and two sodas. $38.17 was my total. $40 bucks for two items, and it wasn't that good. Just go anywhere...

You know its a good shop when the cook is cooking, music jamming and he stops and comes up and asks what I would like to order then starts cooking it before I even paid! Cashier girl was busy so he stepped up and asked thats amazing customer service.
The carne asada super nachos were big portion with sour cream, guac, pico de Gallo and fresh shaved queso fresco all over the top. The carne asada was actual hot crispy chopped steak. Chips were fresh made still hot. Totally worth eating there and enjoyed the experience.
Kept looking at the menu and wanted to order so much more but was completely full and satisfied. Those rigoberto carne asada fries special sounds so good, I'm thinking its like a wet burrito flavor carne asada fries.
I was there at 8am and they were already people coming in and out picking up their orders. Appears there were some early birds because when I bussed my table there were already trays stacked.
I'm so happy I chose this place while in town.
To the staff working there thank you for the experience and...
