I wish I could rate today as a zero. There are no words for how rude the girls were today at the Dunkin donuts in laplata. Every morning since the day they opened I go there and everyone has been so welcoming, friendly, and respectful. Today I go through the drive-thru as I always do and order my drinks. And the young man didn't know the drinks so I figured he was new. Moving on I order my drink and a young lady gets on the mike and says that this drink is not a drink they are supposed to be making. Well, I have been ordering the same drink all week with no problem. So that I don't hold the line up I then say well can you just cancel the whole order. In the background, the same young lady says “Well Leave then” “bye”. I wish I had recorded the interaction because I was so upset and angry that I just left to cool off. I called back up to speak with the manager and a young lady tells me that the manager isn't in. So I ask is there another way to speak with him and she says hold on. The same young lady that was on the drive-thru mike comes on the line asking me to leave a message. I told her I don't want to leave a message but instead wanted to speak with the manager. She then says we cannot give his personal number out. I understand when does the manager comes back to the store. She says tomorrow. I then asked when tomorrow and she says tomorrow in the afternoon. I hang up because I'm frustrated and I know that she is lying. So then I call the store managers other store and found out that the managers are always in the store in the mornings. This won't stop me from going to the store because of one bad apple. But you ensure this young lady understands customer service is key to establishments such as dunk in donuts. I will be reaching out to the Store Manager in...
Read moreI USED to go to Dunkin’ every single morning. I would order a coffee (iced or hot but the same way every time) and breakfast. Needless to say, just like most people, I spend entirely too much money on Dunkin’ but still. The customer service has always been lack luster but this year it’s at an all time low, you’re lucky if you even get the person at the window to say a word let alone say you’re welcome or have a great day when you get your order. As if the experience itself wasn’t bad enough my coffee started to become a problem. It was NEVER consistent yet I ordered the same thing EVERYTIME. The second to last time I went I got my hot coffee with French vanilla swirl cream and sugar (I like a little coffee with my sugar and flavor.) I work in temple hills and it was a hot coffee so needless to say I couldn’t try it when I first got it (not that I should have to.) When I got to work I realized there was NO SUGAR and NO VANILLA. I was so irritated because it was a rough morning and I needed coffee. I called and the lady who answered was rude and basically said “we’ll come back and we will fix it” I told her I’m in temple hills I can’t come all the way back to LaPlata and her response was well I don’t know what you expect me to do for you then... at that point I requested to speak to the owner. He got on the phone and apologized and asked me to please give them another chance. He told me what times he would be there and said he promised he would make it right... this brings me to today.. my final straw... ordered a hot coffee.... EXACTLY the same way... got to work.. you already know.... NO SUGAR NO VANILLA. Just cream. I will NEVER go to this...
Read moreI left Dunkin all of 3 minutes ago and came straight to google to write a review. I have been going to this dunkin for years. And the one in waldorf. I got 2 medium ice coffees and 3 pup cups. In my 15+ years of coming to the laplata and waldorf dunkin i have never been charged for a pup cup. So i asked why and the drive thru person was so rude and began to tell me iw as wrong and waldorf does charge me for a pup cup when i go. Look me in my face and called me a liar. I personally know the owner as i use to work for one of his other companies so i asked her if it was something new Nick had inforced and she said no. They charged me $1.06 per pup cup. Its 50cents to add whip cream to a drink. When i said that she said no whip cream is free. Wrong again. I get charged to add whip cream to my frozen mocha coffees. It got to the point other employees cane to explain it because she was so rude. Once we received the pup cups the rude lady in the druve thru came back to the window and said word for word “what are you waiting for something”. I HADNT EVEN GOTTEN MY COFFEES YET. So rude. Worst experience and i will be sharing with everyone and wont be returning. If this is how dunkin operates its worth the extra money to switch to Starbucks! Dont go here you will be treated terribly!! Just want to add i finally tasted my coffe and they added a ton of cream and sugar! I didnt not ask for extra cream and sugar its like im drinking coffee creamer. Terrible service! Train your employees better. I will be contacting corporate this is completely...
