Battleground Bar & Grill — Restaurant in La Porte

Reading these reviews makes me more aware than ever that we all have a difference in perspective. We came out to the Trade days and ended up here afterwards…..it’s a great place, great people, the owner and his beautiful girlfriend are amazing. They are friendly and personable and we have been planning to go back ever since. The drinks were cold, I didn’t feel like they were overpriced like some of these reviews….again perspective. Anywho, this place is worth the visit to have a cold drink and great conversation. It is outdoors but they have a whole covered patio and I get feel grouchy hot one time...

My first time here, outside venue, but not too bad for Texas in August lol. They have plenty of shop fans to keep you cooled off. Karaoke was fun, great KJ, and drew a good crowd with lots of very good singers. Drinks were surprisingly on the pricey side, my friend bought 2 Star-fkr shots and a beer for almost $20. The owner stole a machine from a beloved local business. I am not sure why they would think this is a good idea. La Porte is a small community and word does get around.
