I am fortunate to have had the opportunity to try Sushi from multiple locations around the world (Someday, I'll get to Japan). I've been to 49 of our 50 states, and have tried many locations within the USA 🇺🇸 I've also been to Costa Rica 🇨🇷, Ukraine 🇺🇦, Australia 🇦🇺, Canada 🇨🇦, China 🇨🇳, & The Philippines 🇵🇭.
While visiting FuJi Sushi, I first ordered the 5pc sashimi. Every single piece was fresh, soft, and delicious! Top quality! Then I had the Mango Tango. Again top notch and very flavorful. To drink, I like hot green tea. The sushi was so good, that I also ordered a couple items to go, for dinner.
I had read some of the reviews and wanted to see how things tasted without asking to have it "My Way". I was very pleased. I also found out, that if you want something "Your Way" they will be happy to accommodate.
I can no longer say that a particular place is the best, but I can say that of all the Sushi places that I've been to, this place is on my "The Best of the Best" List. I will be patronizing this establishment next time I'm in the area and have the extra time like I did today.
Four of the "Equally BEST" Sushi places that I've been to:
YOSHI Shevchenka Blvd, 205 Cherkasy, Cherkas'ka oblast Ukraine, 18000
FuJi Sushi Asian Cuisine 8740 Spencer Hwy c1 La Porte, TX 77571
Tokyo Sushi & hibachi 1829 Adams St Mankato, MN 56001
Chopsticks 313 W Village Blvd...

The service was fine.
I arrived right when the restaurant opened (I had an appointment at noon). Though greeted, seated, and order sent in within reasonable time, it took about 10 minutes for my appetizer to come out and about 15 minutes after that for my entree to come out. Even the miso soup took longer than miso soup should. The only thing ‘cooked’ that I ordered was the pepper tuna and that only requires a light sear.
Okay. Onward. The miso soup was very good. The pepper Tuna was good, too. I ordered the Sashimi & Sushi Lunch (chef’s choice). I must say, all the fish seemed to be great quality and fresh as other reviewers have mentioned. The rice for the sushi did have a sweetness to it that I’ve never had before. Also, the tuna roll had a very large chunk of tuna. It’s nice, but it was a little over powering with the fishy taste for such a small roll. I love salmon nigiri and that’s usually what I order, but I decided to try something new and order a chef’s choice. I found the other fish had a little more of a (noticeably) fishy taste, even the tuna. The salmon was fine.
All in all, it was a decent experience. If I were to go back I’d just order miso soup and salmon nigiri. Hopefully, my order wouldn’t take as long or there would seem to be a reason...

It was my initial visit to the establishment. We were provided seating at a sizeable table for our corporate meet-and-greet luncheon for the newly hired employees. Due to capacity constraints, space was limited, resulting in restricted elbow room.
Now, disregarding the aforementioned inconvenience, the Mango Tango sushi roll emerged as the exceptional highlight of the experience. It was nothing short of remarkable, an exquisite culinary delight that surpassed any previous sushi experience I have had the privilege of enjoying. The egg drop soup complemented the meal perfectly, delivering an exceptional gustatory experience. Our server demonstrated attentiveness, politeness, and exceptional courtesy throughout the service.
In conclusion, I hold this establishment in high regard. The sushi is truly exceptional, characterized by robust flavors and offered at a reasonable price point. The ambiance can be described as semi-casual and cozy, although it may not be the most suitable venue for large gatherings. I wholeheartedly recommend this establishment and bestow upon it my highest...
