Chick-fil-A — Restaurant in Deer Park

This place always feels like a community gathering place, a beloved Town Square. People come to work, meet up, let their kids play in the enclosed play place, do special activities like art projects and meet superheroes or Santa, etc. I have found old friends there whom I hadn't seen since high school. They take care of veterans, emergency responders, students, young, old, and they really get to hire the best of the best personalities due to regularly having open walk-in interviews. Customers come, customers go (satisfied), and it still feels like home if it's just minimum interaction because the service is so well executed. This store prides itself in becoming / being(?) a training store, and they do everything by the book. The drink machines are taken apart to the nozzles and properly cleaned every single night, the food only sits unsold until the timer runs out, as does the fresh coffee. The attention to detail in the smallest, most inconvenient, and time-consuming systems shows the integrity of this location's love for the public. You can always find an employee walking around giving away a free ice cream cone to a child. The teenage employees are just as friendly and genuine as the senior ones. I can't recommend the Deer Park, TX location enough. It's a franchise that, unlike most franchise businesses, is actually run like a Mom-and-Pop family shop. HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!!! I went through the drive through and paid with my CASHAPP and total came out to $11.84 and once i got to the window they said they didnt get my order. They said to reorder with them so i did but wanted me to repay??? I said Why if the money was taken out of my CASHAPP and they said No its pending. I told them i only have $8 now even tho i came in with $20. I dont care if its only $11 IT WAS TAKEN OUT OF MY ACCOUNT so why would i have to repay?? The lady was super rude and throwing my food and EVEN THE GENERAL MANAGER TOLD ME TO FILE A COMPLAINT ABOUT THIS RUDE LADY. She working like if the $11 going to come out her paycheck, i dont understand was she was so rude about it. I was trying to show her it did take it out of my account and she was ignoring me and just saying “I dont care” okay than why are you acting like your life depends on it??? Unfortunately, this location used to be good but has started going downhill. Honestly, I get salads here a lot because they are cheap, quick and can fit under my diet plan easily.. but now, Everytime I order a salad, I get back to work or home to find out they forget the crunchy pieces that go with the salad, the dressing or sometimes even both. It's really frustrating because sometimes I have someone else help out and pick up my salad, I don't want to have to ask them everytime to double check to make sure the restaurant includes what is SUPPOSED to go IN my salad. I'm getting really frustrated with having incomplete salads or going the extra mile and time out of my day to go back and ask for something that probably...
