I WILL NEVER BE RETURNING TO THIS LOCATION!
Im disappointed with the inconsistent service at this GameStop. My husband, a loyal customer of GameStop , was singled out by the lady cashier clerk named Sam for an ID check to use reward points, while the other two customers that checked out before my husband and son weren't. She also did not ask my husband if he wanted to use his reward points . When my husband asked to use them she became defensive and asked for his Id which would have not been an issue if she had done the same to the two previous customers that had checked out prior to my husband. This unfair treatment is unacceptable, especially since we've never faced this elsewhere. As frequent shoppers, we're now reconsidering our loyalty. I called to ask for the manager the reason of an ID check . Her response was to let me know she was the active Manager at the moment all while being rude while I was expressing my concerns with the experience my husband and son had . My son who’s 15 told me she kept following him around and felt a certain vibe as soon as they arrived. Had she looked at the account she would have know that our family spends thousands of dollars at GameStop every year and we will not be stepping a foot in this GameStop again . Read moreSo for many years I had a five star review and loved this place, but now with the new crew it has turned awful. I had the animal crossing switch pre ordered for my gf's bday , at the date of pre order we were told it comes out the 20th. Well turns out that was incorrect and it was the thirteenth and we never received any phone call telling us it was out. instead we received a call stating that they gave it away. When talking to the store manager about it, she told us "it was out of her hands". Emailed corporate and they simply never responded or to phone calls.
Zero customer service and not even willing to uphold their own policies. The service in this store in particular has gotten awful. both with communication and sales. Awful location. and NEVER have I had a preorder I put money on given away and told "Well you can refund it". yes because the point to put money down is to store it while the product I want is sold out. Store and employees need re trained. Store manager is a whole different breed of awful for her position and just seems to lack experience, skill and communication for her position. Since I moved, I tried to go to this location cause it's closer. last night I called to pick up a pre order the phone was answered "gamestop you got 1 min go" let it be said it was 5 min till 9, but they were going to stay upon later that day for red dead release. I told him I didn't have my receipt since I preordered and paid more than 6 months ago. he said they couldn't help me tonight to come tomorrow. I asked if I can give them my number to look it up he said no come tomorrow. he then tried to hang up, I said can I just buy a new copy now he said he doesnt know. I went today stood in line gave my number and was done in less than a min. no receipt was needed they never really are. I will be going back to my old store not just because of last night but 2 other bad customer service experiences. the 10 min extra drive will be worth it.
