I stopped in after a very struggling hike from jail to CVS... It took me forever 5 blocks to get to CVS to get breathing meds... Omg, that county jail is the worst for any kind of life sustaining medications (Albuterol, budesonide steroid inhaler, and duonebs, ,- hurray jail gave me oxygen, but didn't last to my release. I can see why inmates die in that nearby jail. And I wasn't going to regret hospital copay choice right before CVS pharmacy, nor ambulance ride.
But the establishment was great for me to sit and schedule a $50 Lyft ride home back to Mishawaka! Btw, only premium top money Lyft... First 30 minutes scheduling Lyft was crazy on the discount side, wasted.
My release about 4 pm, CVS about 6, yes struggled to breathe hike to CVS .. so I was there montys like 7-8. One other patron was there most of visit. I sat and had a mix drink or two.
A pool table... Tables I think, I sat at bar. I'm 54 age, I don't party much. Smoking is allowed. Possible great place for a date? Or a meet up? Or a private gathering? Place is pretty huge, possibly a 80+ occupancy ?
I'm not from there... But I partied at dicks numerious times a block away a number of years ago.
First business which saved my monster coffee drink until I left. Very hospitality.
Buy, I all need to fix that county jail. Omg, 26 hours in there is like a death sentence. I think there oxygen concentrator needs replacement... Lol... Funny how bad my condition gotten in such short time. Oh yea, it doesn't matter if one enters that jail with medications, they won't give it to treat within 26 hours .. and certainly don't give it back upon release.
Yea, I wrote about jail under a business... Lol .. CVS is great too, they fill a script at another CVS pharmacy.
Um, I also visited nature's cupboard across the street from jail... Im6hey have some caffeine drinks (which I had hoped yekped with lung breathing issues) so that's all of my Laporte county experience these past 4-5 years. I think jail released me cause they don't wanna treat me? Who knows I never had a free bond... Not at 5 years of trouble free life, but I guess 7vyears = free bail? Lol. Or...
Read moreLove this bar! I found it after I moved to town this past summer and its been my favorite go to spot to unwind or even have drinks with friends! Recently this year it was taken over by a new owner and he and his bartenders are awesome! They KNOW their drinks and if they haven't made it before and you got a recipie in mind for a drink best believe they can make it no problem! They have music, THREE pool tables inside, gaming machines and plenty of tvs to watch sports on! Hands down of you want a chill spot to have fun and vibe at with bartenders who know what they are doing Montys is the place to go! Yes, it is now Called Montys pool hall just hasn't changed yet on Google pages is all! Seriosly give it a check out, they do take card or cash but they dont have a kitchen. An overall Great place for drinks, games, music, good vibes, and chill...
Read moreSmoking allowed and cheap drinks. Two pool tables that get used regularly. The staff is next level awesome but ownership is painfully cheap so don't expect a lot of heat in the winter months. Would rate at 5 stars because of the staff but is capped at 2 stars for the owners cheap shenanigans. Has the potential to get rough after 9:30 pm. Friend of mine got killed by the back entrance a few years about so a "No Weapons or Knives" sticker was put up. Bathrooms are a dumpster fire with sinks that get repurposed as urinals if a...
