The food was fine, but the service was so poor. We were looking around for our server because we had empty water glasses and an empty basket of chips for a good 30-45 minutes (and it’s frustrating to not get water when it’s 100+ degrees outside). Multiple other servers walked by our table and saw that we didn’t have any water or chips, but they didn’t seem to care. One male server walked by us, looked at our table, then said to the one behind us, “Do you want more chips?” Maybe you aren’t allowed to help tables brag you aren’t serving? We ordered basic dishes (tacos and burrito), but it took around 45 minutes to get the food - the majority of that time spent without water or chips. Finally, when we had finished, we couldn’t get the check! We finally had to walk to the front to ask how we should pay. It wasn’t busy: there were multiple open tables. So it’s hard to understand why everything took so long. And we think the most confusing and frustrating thing is that multiple servers repeatedly walked by us without offering help. I mean, is just water we were drinking, you couldn’t have brought a pitcher? It’s amazing how such poor service can ruin the enjoyment of a place, even if the...

Zero stars if that was possible . To start, drinks took extremely long to get and I couldn't get water. Next, the food was below average at best and they weren't even busy. We had the enchiladas, tostada and fajitas. Food was cooked alright, but quality was extremely low. Genetic beans and typical rice you could get anywhere. Now, the experience, slow service and horrible customer relations. This place was disgusting and I can't they're in business. First, I had a demand a water to choke down a bone from my lack luster fajitas. Then, I had to argue with the staff that about a bone in my food. I guess they tried everything before they served the meal. I would have walked out, but the remainder of the party was too nice to follow suit. I would hope this dump would go out of business before they even attempted to even serve water again.

I can only hope the operator of this business reads my review and I can truly speak about my displeasure for this restaurant. Anyone who gives this place a higher rated review has no idea what Mexican food...

Apparently I am alone in my negative opinion of this restaurant...so I will come back again in hopes that I just had a really poor and unusual experience. That said, here is my review.

It’s a nice looking and authentically decorated little place, but the food was awful. The second worst Mexican food restaurant I’ve been to...the only one worse was at “South of the Border” in NC...and if you’ve ever been there, you know what I mean :)

The chips and salsa starter was not fresh made and well below average. The shredded beef in my chimichanga was so burnt, the flavor crept into the other ingredients and made the entire chimi inedible.

That said, the service was decent and sour cream and guac was fresh :)

Interesting side note, I went to another mexican restaurant earlier today where I was the only non-Mexican diner (it was excellent) - this restaurant had ONLY non-Mexican diners, so that might speak to the authenticity...

I absolutely love this place!! Especially their breakfast burritos and daily specials! Their Salmon was absolutely delicious and prepared just right! I love the atmosphere, music, & drinks. Including the people behind the magic, especially Leticia & Gustavo, they really do make us feel welcome every time we go! It's like walking into your family's casita and the Mariachi music is just playing in the background while the food is coming out hot for all who arrive. They also make the coldest & yummiest chabelas on this side of the Coachella Valley! Their new decór adds all the remaining flavors of what Mariachi Mexican Cuisine is all about!

This review was a tad tricky… my fiancée absolutely loved her food, and I absolutely hated mine. I got aroz con pollo, which I literally get all over the country. It had was called a bisque sauce on it which was like tomato sauce. It would have been decent but it also had a ton of onions in the sauce. I’m from the midwest so I’m used to very spicy and seasoned Mexican food so this was quite a bit different. She ate and I ended up going somewhere else to get something.
