I always have a good experience here. Through the years, I have used Office Max supplies (from paper clips to tech items to office furniture), print services and tech services. I have found their prices to be the best of any comparable business in the valley. The employees are all nice, competent and helpful. Recently, I took my laptop in for cleaning and repairs and had the good fortune of meeting and working with Daniel. He knows what he's doing--that's for sure. I will be replacing my laptop soon and this is where I'll get a new one.
Update: I just want to re-iterate what I said above and add that I did get a new laptop. I also got the yearly tech plan which I highly recommend, as I am NOT tech savvy! I continue to work with Daniel on a regular basis in that regard. I've recently needed some print services that required a certain level of detail and perfection. I thought I would need to go into detail to explain my requirements, but Christian "got it" immediately and, in just minutes, I had exactly what I needed in hand. Read moreOffice Max always has everything I need when I visit. The service, however, leaves much to be desired. On more than one occasion I have stood in the checkout line while being completely ignored by store employees. I have actually had to call the store on my phone to get someone to come to the checkout. In one case, the employee was looking right at me when they answered my phone call. This morning was the last straw. A manager helped us find something we were looking for then disappeared. The two other employees in the store were helping two gentlemen for over ten minutes while my wife and I stood within earshot of them. We asked for help, but their backs were to us and they completely ignored us. The cashier was very unapologetic when she came to the register. The manager showed back up just as we were leaving, and apologized for the inconvenience. In my opinion, this crew just does not care. Or perhaps they only care for a certain type of client. Read moreI love that social media pop up asked me about my experience at Office Max. Well let me tell you.. they might as well close the Last Quinta store! We went in for a nice pen for a gift. The website says they are in stock. When we got there we finally found one of the two or three people working there. We brought up 3 empty boxes of the pens we liked. The girl scanned them and told us only one was actually in stock. She went to find it. After about 10 minutes she returned and told us they do not have it. Then she proceeded to explain they have personnel issues and the pens are possibly on the truck on one of the seven pallets. So we ask when they are going to be available...she tells is in about a WEEK! It's going to take them a WEEK to unload the truck!
