Habit Burger & Grill — Restaurant in La Quinta

They always have great food, but this location needs to either remove the lock on the door and add a stall & partition on what was the men's room, or change things on the women's room... It's really NOT COOL to have a women's room and an non-specific restroom... This often makes men wait forever for no good reason, while giving women priority.

Update on 11/17 after Owner's message at 9:26pm PST:

I wrote that review above 2 years ago (not sure of what date, but Google shows 2 years, so 1.5-2.4 years ago), and what I complained about was the fact you had a non-gender restroom and a women's room. That means you have two women's rooms and no men's room! (I know, that's not the intent, but that's the way some women look at it when they think they need total privacy for some reason.)

You either need to have 2 non-gender restrooms, or a men's and women's rooms, not one from each category, as this is always abused, and it leaves men out in the cold, waiting for a long time, which is bad when you just need a couple of minutes quickly or just want to wash your hands!

Seriously, feel free to install a 3rd restroom, but it's dumb to turn big rooms meant for 2-4 people using various facilities into a single user space.

If you really want to do just non-gender to please some, put the urinals in stalls or even take them out, and leave the toilets in stalls and let anyone that wants use them... Less waiting for all this way!

Don't be unfair to men no...

AMAZING! . Dante was wonderful, he was very helpful with the menu. The food was perfecto.The ambience was great👍 good music upbeat and uplifting. Dining was super clean two thumbs up 👍. The whole crew was amazing 👏. Bravo The Habit . I will Deff recommend it to my friends. 07-25-2025 update still give stars because I really do love how easy it is how different it is the music and overall it's a great place . But my last few visits the burgers have been too salty . One of the woman crew was cleaning the grill filters while food was still cooking she was literally shoes over the food. And using a broom 🧹 to reach dirty broom over your food oh no ! Everyone saw my discomfort but they don't care the rest of the crew pretty much had a shes crazy if anyone tells her anything and we just let it happen. If your a customer please watch out for those cleaning habits not safe. And if your a crew member and reading this please wait until the restaurant closes to clean the grills that's just nasty. She was standing on the counter where food is prepared. Please...

I went to the la quinta Ca location today. The cashier was an elderly man. The last three times ive tried going there this man has helped me. The last two times i just walked out from frustration. I wanted to order a burger with no bun. He said you mean a lettuce wrap i said no just open faced in a tray, He said i dont know how to do that ( i actually interrupted the cashier next to him out of frustration and i do regret that) i asked the cashier next to him to please show this man how for this is the third time ive been here and instead of asking someone he just says he doesnt know. Now today i was beginning my order, ordering for my boyfriend first and then myself the cashier interrupted me to talk directly to my boyfriend and say anything else with an attitude i said yes im still ordering. Then again to tell me he doesnt know how to take my order was the last straw. Ill put it this way i have only left two google reviews in my life and i have to be pretty upset to do this i wont go back to the habit...
