Updated^3 I ordered the same large pepperoni and got a good one this time. Updated^2! I ordered the new large pizza. 3/4 of it looks edible so I still got a medium. Just paid more. Google, why do I have to edit a review from 8 months ago?
Updated!! What a difference a day makes!?! I had another coupon and thought I'd give them another chance the very next day. I was helped by a knowledgeable employee named Angeles who changed my original opinion of the place. I had plain pepperoni pizza and it was made and cooked to perfection. After this experience, I will go back.
Original.. Great pizza and beautiful building! Now let's get to the problems. The workers led me to believe they had been open about an hour. Not for the day but since the grand opening. Not one but 3 of the 4 employees seemed like they knew less than I did. I asked what a lunch hack was as I held up their mailer. The 1st girl asked a second who explained it was a half pizza with no drink for $5. I decided we wanted the bogo free. The girl told us BBQ chicken didn't count for that special. Not true but the 2nd guy was back to the rescue to remedy the problem. Next, time to pay. Hand the cashier the coupon who says $19. I ask if that includes the free pizza? He says no as though he wasn't the idiot who just forget to enter it. The corporation works hard to come up with a system that allows for people to be interchangeable but the system didn't plan on this type of DNA. All this and I wasn't in utter shock until I was told they had been open 6 months already! Hopefully they work out the kinks soon because the pizza...
Read moreFeb 11 8pm As I walked in the the blaze pizza I was starving and ready to order. I went up to the pizza station and waited 6 minutes. With two employees in front of me (male and female) I would assume one or the other would help me with my order. I was wrong....I was not even greated or told It would be a minute to take my order. I was completely ignored! I asked one of the male employees for help and they gave me a one word answer and continued to make online orders. I was unaware if there was a wait time or what was going on but I can tell you this customer service was absolutely terrible. As I was about to walk out luckly a younger gentleman from the back came up and decided to help me. He helped me and apologize for the wait time while the other two employees were in their own little worlds. The gentleman that helped me was very nice and answered all questions. His customer service skills on the other hand were more than exceptional. Definitely management needs to take a step in and show some of their staff how to run a business and actually how to behave. I don't recommend this place if you want quick service. I could see now why such a big place is completely empty. There was lots of seating I can...
Read moreTuesday 12/17 @ 7 pm. We, a family of five, decided to have dinner at this Blaze location ( we usually go to the Claremont location, but parking has become increasingly difficult in that area), we’ve been here 3 times before and the service, ambience and food quality were excellent, the guys behind the counter were pleasant, fast and profesional; today, unfortunately, completely different experience. The manager, I’m assuming she is, has a poor attitude, confrontational, unkind and unpleasant. She was in charge of taking the pizzas out of the oven and because she couldn’t be bother to show some sense of service, our food came out crunchy like a dry cracker. And when you pay short of $80, one expects the service and food to be satisfactory, and today it was less than. As an addition, when you are a food service worker, specially handling food directly, facial piercings are an absolute NO. This, once again, wasn’t the case. To say that our experience today was disappointing falls short on words; and to think that a smidge of customer service would have completely turned...
