I ordered $186 carry out order. Came in & was told by Heather that they had "no milkshakes" & no offer to refund until I mentioned how to get the refund for the milkshakes. She said to check the website. Fine, it can wait until Monday.
Get home to find no steak omelette, two mushroom/spinach omelettes, missing two regular hashbrowns, one crispy hashbrowns & missing a strawberry lemonade.
Go back in after we were told over the phone by Heather, repeatedly, that she packed it correctly. Spoke with Isabelle(sp) & she met us in the front. Took our information & we sat down in the waiting area booth.
Heather then proceeded to confront us & repeated she gave us extra food, she packed our order correctly & being confrontational. At this point, both my husband & myself had explained that the manager took our information & to please do her job & help her sitting customers.
Heather then proceeded to raise her voice, harass both my husband & myself, refusing to accept responsibility for her mistakes & is assuming we are lying when I asked her, "If you packed my order correctly, why wasn't I provided the strawberry lemonade?" She then proceeded to cuss & yell at us while we defended ourselves & requested multiple times to leave us alone. She then tried to kick us out when we did nothing wrong. Heather even threatened to cancel any future orders if she sees them with my name on it. That sealed exactly my thoughts on my future patronage.
Isabelle came back, correcting Heather on the way she is speaking to customers & telling her to leave because of the chaos she is creating.
At which point Isabelle handled the situation but Heather was completely unprofessional. Wanting to argue & defend herself over a simple mistake.
I am expecting a call tomorrow regarding my due refund for the milkshakes we never received however we have no desire to order or dine from IHop again. I am not surprised at the low Yelp & Google reviews if that is what IHop employs.

Read moreI came here this morning with several church friends of mine for our monthly traditional men's breakfast by my recommendation, since I haven't had IHOP in several years, but after we finished our food and left, it's safe to say we won't be coming back anytime soon.
I personally ordered the cinnamon pancakes with two scrambled eggs, two sausage links, hashbrowns, and a cup of coffee.
Pros: Great pancakes and sausages, good coffee, pleasant atmosphere, comfortable seating, clean tables, big menu, good music, and friendly servers.
Cons: Dry eggs, mediocre hashbrowns, small error with the topping of my cinnamon pancakes, and horribly slow waiting time. Me and my friends entered in and seated ourselves at 7:30 AM, but we didn't leave until close to 9:20 AM because our food was taking so long to make and the staff wanted to bring everything out at once, along with waiting on the waiter to bring us our bills. Oh, and speaking of our bills, my food came out to be $18.57, which is fairly expensive for the amount and the quality of the food that I received. Lemon Tree Cafe tends to offer more at a cheaper price.
If you're thinking of coming here with a friend or a group of them, go try somewhere else. You're going to risk waiting for a long time.
Update: I received a call on Feb. 6th from the manager who wanted to hear more about my experience, and by the end of it, he agreed to give me a full refund. I provided to him the necessary information to make the refund possible, and he told me that the money would arrive back into my account in about 10 days. Well, flash forward to now, and it's been 16 days so far. I still don't see my refund yet in my account. Safe to say that the manager didn't keep his word, so I'll decrease the overall score of this review down to two stars, the service down to one, and will say that I will never come...
Read moreWhere do I begin? Not with the food or the drink refills because those were nonexistent. Let's start by walking in the door. We were ignored for the first few minutes that we were there. When the lady behind the desk finally looked up, she tried to group us with the people that had already been waiting. Once we were finally seated, she hurriedly took our drink order and ran off before we could order appetizers. When she brought the drinks, we didn't let her leave without ordering the apps. It proceeded to take 30 minutes before she came back at all to take our order, ignoring the empty glasses on the table. It took another 15 before we saw the appetizers. We watched two other tables recieve their food and refills without even hearing a peep from our server, who by the way is not the one that is listed on the receipt. The person handling our table was dressed in black and appeared to be the manager. There was no visible name tag to be able to name her. After waiting for more than an hour and only seeing our server three times with absolutely no enthusiasm, we asked for the bill for the drinks and our appetizers and she gave us attitude about our food being almost done. We were more done with the experience than our food was. The $28 spent on two appetizers and three drinks was the biggest waste of money in my life, and I've been married before.
