Listen...I'm all about giving grace to fast food workers. I've worked the job myself. However, this location has lost any chance at grace from me.
We ordered from this location online, so my 5 year old and I headed inside to pick it up (as the drive-thru line was seven cars deep). We get inside, and, honestly, the lack of cleanliness in the restaurant almost made me cancel my order to begin with. However, I noticed that there was only one person working (and they also kept loudly proclaiming they were the only one working to anyone who would listen), so I decided to give them grace that being short staffed had made their cleanliness suffer and maybe today was an off day. We had ordered a spicy chicken combo, a 12 pc nugget combo and a 5 pc bbq wings combo. The person working said they were all out of nuggets and asked if tenders would be okay. I told them I supposed that it would have to be (with a little laugh because it didn't really bother me). They handed me my food and said it was all there.
Unfortunately, I got home and the sandwich was missing, and we were missing an order of fries. I was prepared to just head back and ask for the missing items (again, intending to give the person grace because I know they were stressed). But then we noticed a gross looking brown substance caked on the bottom/side of our side of mac n cheese, the tenders were super thin and there was a hair in my son's wings. At this point, we decided that it was no longer appetizing and we should just return the food.
I took all the food and drinks back and asked for a refund. I was kind about it and simply explained why we wanted a refund. At this point there was another woman that had shown up and she was beyond rude to me. At one point I even said to her, "I'm not being rude to you, so please don't be rude to me." She scoffed at me and rolled her eyes when I said there was something gross and brown on the mac and cheese container (I wish we had taken pictures...it was gross). When I said the tenders were super thin she snapped, "Well, that's not our fault." To which I replied, "I know, and I'm not mad at you. We just don't think this is worth the money or very appetizing." They then asked to see the hair, and I told them I hadn't actually seen it but my husband and son had. We opened the box and the woman and the other person working laughed...literally laughed and said, "That's chicken hair." I agreed it was most likely from a feather, but again, it didn't make the food any more appetizing.
The combination of the lack of basic cleanliness, the poor quality of food and the abysmal customer service, means we will absolutely never be going back. I wouldn't have even bothered with a poor review if they hadn't been so unnecessarily rude to me. I know working fast food can be stressful, but you need to understand that taking it out on your customers is not the right approach. This was our first encounter with Popeyes, and it will definitely be our last. I wish we would have looked at your 3.4 star google rating before going, and we could have avoided this mess of a restaurant...
Read moreI sat at the menu board waiting to place my order until the entire drive thru line was empty ahead of me. Order process went smooth. Got to the window employee running the register asked for 15.23 after stating 19.59 while ordering. Gave him a $20 in cash. Got $.41 in change. So proper change for first amount stated. Recieved 2 sodas that were full top to bottom with Ice. Sat outside the window for over 10mins. Over the extended stay waiting for my food I saw 5 employees inside. Literally half the time 3 of them stood around talking to one another. Sadly while I am awaiting my order or any news as to why I have been waiting excessively, I get to spend the time watching the staff stand around doing nothing except EATING and talking to one another. I saw one employee build my order. Then another came and took EVERYTHING back out. Worst of all the chicken sandwich I ordered had not been wrapped in the foil yet. I had one gloved employee build my sandwiches. Then another in gloves reach in and pull the order back out one by one. To look like what was an inspection of the "no pickle" order. He placed them on the counter turned and walked out of sight. A third employee also ungloved handled the sandwich and wrapped it in the foil wrap. He looked through each of the 2 bags twice pointing up at the monitor looking down again back to the monitor. Finally he walked the bags to the window. He handed them to me and apologized that they had to make fresh fillets. I left thinking it would have been nice to know I was going to be waiting almost 20 mins from pulling up to the microphone at the menu board to driving off with my order. Now driving, home I find myself digging to the bottom where the fries are. Just to find out the fries are completely...

I ordered french fries and small container of gravy. I was given french fries and a small container of green beans. On my second order I ordered spicy chicken strips and they were cold and little dry. I tried to call the store to have this fixed and the phone rang 20 or 30 times and then someone answered and placed the phone on the counter and walked away. I could hear people ordering in the background, and being busy doesn't cut it as an excuse. I got online to their website and gave a detailed description of the event, including all information from the receipt and the rude idiot who answered and then put the phone down. I indicated that I wanted someone to call me about this and financially rectify it, but still no one has called me back. Over the years I have had other bad experiences here, but this is the last straw. As far as I am concerned the general public is going to be far better off when Popeye's closes their doors for good. I will have a party on that day because people don't deserve bad food, bad customer service and bad manners. I am sure that a big part of the problem is the quality level of help these days. Many times I have been on my side of the counter staring into the dull eyes of someone who is infected by apathy and just collecting a paycheck. Please go bankrupt, and if you are one of the zombie employees destroying the restaurant experience,...
