I used to go to a larger fish market in Waretown as that's where everyone said it was the best and freshest seafood in the area. One day, I decided to give Seafood Treasures a try, and I haven't looked back since. Not only have I had some of the freshest Seafood, but you'll also find the prices to be cheaper than even the local supermarkets and big box stores. Went here for the first time yesterday. The gentleman who helped us was so knowledgeable. The oysters were amazing! He offered me a bay oyster. It was sweet and full of flavor from the shell. The cusk was very mild and tastier then traditional cod from a grocery store. The first thing I noticed was the cleanliness. Most markets are not fresh. Care has been taken by the owner/Manager of this space. There was more room in the store front then I expected. Maybe a future resturant? The crab cake was perfectly seasoned, sometimes chefs over salt. These were prepared on point! I'm very fanatical about quality, this is the real deal....

This place sells by far, the freshest seafood I've purchased in Ocean County. Today I bought and cooked shrimp, monkfish and scallops. The shrimp tasted like shrimp(not iodine) the monkish fish was the freshest I've ever eaten even in restaurants, this monkfish truly tasted like poor man's lobster but not at lobster prices. and the diver scallops were meaty, didn't release any water when cooked.
