I had already had a pretty awful day (week) because of undergoing major shoulder surgery, and almost literally had to drag myself, in pain, to BK for food. I got there, was greeted over the intercom nicely, and ordered. But things fell apart when I went to pay. Suffice to say, my debit card had recently been hijacked by hackers and I thought I’d had it sorted out with the bank. Nope. But the manager(?), Rashad, came over and was SO incredibly kind to be, despite my thorough embarrassment. He took the time needed to sort things out - I cannot emphasize enough his kindness, patience, and amazing attitude toward me. Being in business myself, I know employers are always looking for team members with such amazing attributes. Adding to this, when I called the store the next day to get his name and to hopefully get the store owner’s contact information to congratulate them on such an awesome employee, I embarrassingly didn’t have Rashad’s name. I was quite emphatically assured it “HAD TO BE RASHAD” (emphasis from employee) “because he was always doing things like that.” It is one thing for me to rave over Rashad’s business and customer service intuition, but when a fellow employee also exclaims over that same person’s beyond-kindness, it surely points towards Rashad’s abilities that are under-utilized and have become quite the hidden gold mine for this store’s owners. Owners, do yourselves an amazing thing: promote this young man! He is clearly junior store ownership in the rough. He’s obviously the kind of young man who has the natural business acumen to meet any and all management and store ownership training available. I seriously hope BK realizes what a stand-out employee he is before another company steals him away. Congratulations BK on your amazing diamond in the...
Read moreStopped at this Burger King later in the evening when there was no drive-thru traffic. We could barely hear the man over the speaker (or at the window), did not have half our order repeated back to us, when requested a cold brew with soft serve, the man said he could do it and stated our total. When we got to the window, we asked if we could make something a meal as it would make it cheaper, he said it would. The receipt he gave to us afterwards was $5 more expensive than what it initially was, as he had added an extra drink, an extra fry, and proceeded to not give us the extra drink, and ignored our inquiry as to why it was more expensive. Considering there was no drive-thru traffic, and no indoor dining, and our order wasn't big at all, I don't understand why it took nearly as long as it did for them to give us our order, and it wasn't even correct. They gave us two drinks, one of which was wrong, and when asked about the cold brew that wasn't listed on the receipt, the man asked if they could just make it a frappe instead. When asked if we could get a strawberry shake instead, he said they were out of strawberry. At this point and beyond frustrated, we just went home. We got no napkins, no straws, no sauces requested, and a burger we requested with no tomato or lettuce, had tomato and lettuce. In general a...
Read moreIf you really bad service and a grumpy employee just head to this drive-through. We swung by around 12:30pm on Monday the 3rd and placed our order. It fairly simple and included a kids meal with nuggets. When we got to the window the person manning it was standoffish and didn't even acknowledge my.husnand when he asked her what drive-through k she was handing him. Ok, some people don't talk much, no biggie we will just sniff our drinks to find out. Once we got our food I checked it like we normally would and noticed that our kids meal didn't come with sauce so my husband asked for 1 sauce. The woman tried to charge him .27 cents for the sauce. We let her know that we got nuggets and no sauce. She was visually upset over our request but got.us the sauce anyway. She didn't give us straws either, so we had.to ask for those. Again she was mad that she had to walk over to.the straws to.get.us some. This was the worst Buger King drive through experience ever. It's usually slow but to have a ride worker being mad at us just for ordering and asking for what we should have already gotten...
