This will be a bit long. I went here the beginning of September. I ordered to combos. One spicy chicken one asiago chicken club. The chicken was so dry you really couldn't eat it. When I spoke with Debbie she was very nice but mentioned oh yeah they did look a littke dry. (Now if they look dry can you imagine what a bite was like?) She was apologetic and offered to replace the meals on next visit. I went today and instead of using the drive thru I went in. Fran helped me at the frontand was very nice. But let me tell you what I observed while waiting for my food. An ederly woman had brought her sandwich up because it was missing some ingredients, cheese, onion, idk what else but the manager/shift leader on duty a woman, young snatched the sandwich out of the lady's hand with a look of disgust on her face turned around to the line cook had them just throw the ingredients o. and passed it back to the lady with not much of a word a walked off. Fran took it upon herself to continue helling the lady and apologized. This shift leader needs to be removed from this position and possibly job. It would be hell on earth if it had been my mother that she treated that way. Now on to my food. Which I should've checked before I left but I just opened up one to make sure the chicken wasn't dry. Well, adter I drive 30 minutes home and start eating my dinner I'm biting into my asiago ranch chickenclub sandwich and taste something off. I look at it and think maybe the lettuce is bad but I look againand there is avocado mush (definitely not real guac) on my sandwich. So I'm not exactly sure what is going on with this store. I will be contacting the...
Read moreHere's the thing about fast food for me: in light of the fact that ANY fast food joint is a poor choice for food if you care at all about your health, I try to limit my patronage to joints that are clean, well managed and that serve their offerings hot, fresh and fast.
The local area Wendy's joints fail to meet this basic standard, by and large. The main problem? Lousy preparation of sandwiches and other items. The difference between a menu picture of one of their burgers and what you actually get is extreme. And for some strange reason, Wendy's seems incapable of serving ANY burger they make hot. Food bought there is typically luke warm at best, and is occasionally cold.
Best thing about Wendy's is their tea offerings. The pear and strawberry, all natural tea is excellent. They offer other all natural teas that are also very good.
Wish their production standards were higher. If they were I'd go there more often. Fast food is pretty awful on a good day, so if you're gonna eat it, at least get the best stuff available.
As such things go, Wendy's would never be my...
Read moreWe came here after church today for one of our first hot meals since Hurricane Irma to try the $5.00 meal to conserve funds. We were without power for 6 days and lost all of our food in our refrigerator and freezer. Upon entering, the lines were long and lobby filled. There were only 3 empty tables. Two employees we were told called out and they only had one computer working. One of our sandwiches was made incorrectly but the staff was honestly trying their very best. The whole time we were eating the lines stayed extremely long. These employees done a fantastic job today and I pray upper management acknowledges a superior job they are trying to do. It is evident they are exhausted. You can see the exhaustion in each of them, yet they serve humbly without complaint for long lengths of time without a break of any sort. Thank you to the crew of Wendy's working in Lady Lake Florida today. You guys are rocking it, even through your mistakes and exhaustion. We appreciate you....
