Fiery Crab Seafood Restaurant And Bar - Lafayette — Restaurant in Lafayette

I experienced one of the worst dinning experiences I have EVER been to! I have worked for the service industry for 10 years and I am absolutely applaud!!!! Last night my husband and I come to the restaurant around 7:30pm, we were told there would be an hour wait, so we waited in our cars. Which we didn’t mind at all cause we traveled from Opelousas to come here for the FIRST time to celebrate my birthday! It’s now 8:45, After an complete hour, we are seated. Finally we get service from our waitress Kourtney. Not only did we get seated, but she had a 4 table section and got triple set a 6 top and two 2 tops. We ordered teas, about 10 mins later, she comes back with our drinks. We finally get to order when she comes back. I ordered everything at once cause I saw she was kinda busy. Crab cakes, wontons and the $88 family platter. After waiting nearly 20 mins, fried pickles and wontons are brought to our table by a different server and walked off. We waited about 15 mins before our waitress finally came back to our table, and explained to her that we ordered crab cakes, not fried pickles, and I asked her if she Could bring everything back to the kitchen cause we wanted to eat our crab cakes and wontons together , and now everything was ice cold. She takes it to the kitchen. That was the LAST I saw of her. 16 mins later she comes back to our table and informs us that our platter is now ready and that it’s hot, so she asked if we wanted her to go ahead and bring it, I said absolutely, cause at this point we are so hungry. Mind you, it’s now 10:02pm... She dropped our platter off, and I asked her when the appetizers were coming. She told me she could have them made now. I asked her before to bring everything out with the platter, I was completely SHOOK when she informed me that she never rung up our appetizer order after I told her to bring it WITH everything cause we were so hungry! She told me she was confused, and I nicely told her to please just bring our appetizers too. After that it’s now 10:33 and she had NEVER once came back to the table. She stayed in the kitchen and never came out once. We completely finished the platter. I had to get up, and go to the bar and ask for our waitress. 10 mins later, she come out the kitchen while I’m standing at the bar , with ONLY the wontons no crab cakes. So I told her, absolutely not , please just give me the check. She said “I feel so bad”, she sat the check and wontons down right in front of me at the bar and completely walked off... I left her a note on her receipt and tipped her only $5 on a $113 ticket! I have NEVER tipped under 20%, and I only have her $5 because her table greet was impressive, but completely went down hill.

I left in tears and realized out of all the years I’ve worked in the restaurant industries I have NEVER seen a serve blatantly neglect a table! I am so hurt, because the only thing we got to eat was the platter and it was absolutely amazing, but we left SO hungry! And I would of loved to try everything we ordered! My husband and I are completely scarred by this experience, that will forever be a horrible memory of my birthday and I hate to say this but probably never...

Highly devastated and humiliated! On yesterday 6/5/23 at the location on kaliste saloom rd in Lafayette la, approximal 5pm My husband and I went to the restaurant for a take out order..spending 110$ on our purchase.. While waiting I said honey lets go to the bar and have a drink and appetizer while waiting, our server at the bar was Sabashtan who we when then place a order of 2 drinks and calamari we paid there and left a tip.. not to mention our server at the desk where we placed food was trinity who from my understanding was a new employee but her customer skills where so good i asked her her name.. as well as the guy at the bar... So while waiting for our food and sipping and chowing on our appetizer once we was done our food was sitting at the desk in front of about 6 employees at the front of the desk where guest come to dine in and dine out there where 2 employee on the cash register and 4 sitting in their back side chatting in what I would call a circle .. I figured the ones chatting did so believing that since it was not as pack being that is was Sunday as it would have normally been on a friday,thurs, even Saturday.. they figured they could take it easy! keep in mind on the clock behind the most important desk where visitors come in and go! which in return caused a bad mistake on their part! they watched us walk up to them and pick up our bags in which there was 2 bags sitting right neck to each other in a very close range as if they both were ours we pick them up in from of all 6 employees told them all thankyou and they greeted us out the door they told us have a wonderful evening and to enjoy! we said thanks ya'll too! Once we made it home way all the way on the other side of town we received and call from the restaurant manger Kristie Lesurne' as well as a personal text from the manager cell phone with harassments stating that, there was a mistake in picking up the wrong bags and that if we didn't drive way back town to bring it back we would be charged on a mistake made by them .. she then threaten my husband saying she would go as low as sending us to the police I guest to try and humiliates us on there mistake bc they was not paying attention to the fact that, there was 2 separate orders. We never noticed it until we made it home. I find that upsetting to the core bc if that's what we came for to steal bags wouldn't we just have done that without paying for anything! She expected us to waste gas and bring that back to throw it in the trash, bc she sure couldn't give it back to a paying customer with all the germs going on during this time this was pathetic and very much insulting to my character as a business Woman! the manager was very rude! kristie lesurn' she also had no rights too texting my personal number off her cellphone regarding a matter of fiery crab I gave them my number regarding the pro to call of the business establishment not hers! she went against all privacy right! I'm very disturb if this is the type of behavior that yall stand by I wouldn't recommend this location...

Prepare yourself this is going to be a long one! This was the absolute worst restaurant experience I have ever had in my entire life! Literally from beginning to end! We arrived and were told there was a 15 minute wait, no problem we'll go to the bar and get a drink while we wait. I ordered a strawberry margarita, it tasted like straight sweet and sour sauce! My boyfriend ordered a Michelob, hot as piss! The girl working the bar, alone, was also serving and answering the phone. 30 minutes later we get our table. My friend ordered crab rangoons for an appetizer, they were just rangoons, no crab in them! My boyfriend ordered fried frog legs, the tarter sauce was so sour! So we get to our entrees. My friend orders chicken tenders with french fries, the tenders were all thick batter and no French fries! My boyfriend ordered fried shrimp with no coleslaw extra hushpuppies, he got coleslaw and no hushpuppies! I ordered boiled crabs...an hour later after everyone finished there food my crabs came but there were no clean peelers so my food sat there for another 30 minutes until they finally found some and washed them and brought them to me!!! The fountain sprite that I ordered was flat. The sweet tea that my friend ordered was unsweet. My boyfriend asked for sweet and sour sauce and got it 15 minutes later. They got there fries and hush puppies with the check. Time for the check! The waitress brings it and says I'm sorry everything was horrible for you guys tonight so I got the manager to knock some off of your bill. She took $8 off of mine and $3 off of my friends!!! So when she comes back to get the check 15 minutes later I ask to speak to the manager. Manager comes, it was the bartender! She's upset that everything was so bad and says she'll make it right. She went back to working the bar and never returned to our table! The GM comes 15 minutes later, I tell her the whole story AGAIN and she starts justifying the horrible service!!! They were busy and it's Saturday night but she'll make it right! Get our check, $11 off of mine and $4 off of my friends! REALLY!? So I go to the washing station to wash my hands, no soap or paper towels there! So I go into the restroom, no paper towels or toilet paper there! Time to sign the check, pen didn't work so now we have to wait another 5 minutes for a pen! 3 hours later we finally leave! I never write reviews but I am furious! I will never return to this place again and I will warn others not...
