Even after bariatric surgery, one of the first things I craved to eat was an izzo's burrito. When I could finally have solid food, it was one of the first things I ate. The atmosphere is very friendly and laid back, lots of table and chairs seating available with booths lining the walls. The food is very good, burrito filler bar is always clean, I have never seen a piece of wilted/bad lettuce, all produce seems fresh and well maintained. I love the staff, they are very friendly and happy to help you, whether it's your first or fiftieth time. My only complaint is that the company has decided to really charge you for avacado. They have instructed the staff to put a quarter of an avacado on your order but the charge is still $1. As a consumer, avacados are ¢.80. I have been tempted to bring my own and ask them to put it on my food, but that would be putting them in a bad position. Still, $1 for a quarter of an avacado is pretty annoying and my only reason for taking...

I love Izzoās but I had second thoughts after ordering from the Ambassador store! I ordered over a hundred dollars worth of food and EVERY SINGLE THING WAS WRONG! They completely ignored the order and chose to put whatever they wanted on the burrito bowls. I paid extra for things like cheese, extra cilantro, etc. But they didnāt even bother to look at the order because nothing was right. I ordered brisket and got steak. Non of them had any dressing and they had onions on them all and my sister is allergic. All they had to do was read words from a paper but I am guessing they didnāt know how to read because itās the only explanation for how completely wrong they got it. I would NEVER eat here again. Then Iāve tried to call and tell someone but they never answer the phone! I hope no one else has to go through the same...

If you are wondering at the difference the Mexican style are small, simple, baked, and often part of a meal while the Tex-Mex are large, fresh wrapped, and stuffed with a variety of ingredients. I enjoy both styles depending on my mood and when I want a Tex-Mex one this is my go to.
Their burritos vary from large to a weapon in size, while being stuffed full of a large range of ingredients of your choosing. Their cilantro ranch is a great finishing touch. Their other options are good, though if you want their nachos eat them there rather than to go (nachos never hold up well to time...
