Very bad service, I use to come to this location all the time out of the way, but one day on August 30th I got a box order with lemonade, and sub the coleslaw for a toast, and the toast was great, it was wonderful, but the lemonade tasted like soap. I called back and talked to an Alexis, and she agreed to replace the lemonade, ah ok cool no problem but I live 4-5 miles away I told her I would come by the next following day to get it, she said that's fine and wrote down the information. Well I then opened my box and noticed the chicken was extremly small, like chicken nugget size... IF I WANTED CHICKEN NUGGETS, MCDONALDS HAS A 20 PIECE FOR $5, AND CLOSER TO MY HOUSE!! So I took a picture of the Nuggets and had my wife call back and I'm guessing talk to a Mrs. Alexis again? Well she agreed to replace the whole box. Awesome great support at this time, and then I couldn't make it back the next day, but September 18th 2015, I finally was able to make it back for work reasons. Well I go inside and I talked to the lady at the register, real nice young lady was willing to help me and called up a guy named "Jerry" or jared, but either way, he was extremly rude after about 1/4 through to half way through, at first he was real nice and was willing to replace it, but when he noticed Mrs. Alexis only wrote down lemonade, they were only willing to replace the lemonade, well that was under my name, why didn't anyone ask me for my wife's name and to look under her name because she is the one that called back for the chicken its self? Well anyway, I showed him the receipt and the picture of the physical chicken at this present point!! With time stamps and dates all on it, and they still refused to replace it!!! Well to make a long story short I left the store after little jerry kept being rude and was trying to assist other people and ignore me. I called back the next following day (sept 19th, 2015) to talk to a John, who suppose to be the GM, and he refused to assist me, to make things short, it came down to have to call Alexis to see if I called or whatever, hell she wrote down the lemonade atleast, that proves I called you guys!! And I had pictures and receipts to show I actually came and im not someone just looking for free food, after all this hell I told John I wasn't worried about getting anything replaced because it was too much chaos to get one piece of chicken replaced. This person has to call this person, to talk to this person... Really? I thought you were the GM? So Alexis has to tell you how to do your job? So come to find out, Check your chicken before you leave to make sure they didn't give you chicken nuggets, and taste your drinks to make sure they rinsed the soap out before mixing it with the drink you are drinking. And TURN AROUND RIGHT THEN AND THERE IN THE PARKING LOT, if you have ANY issues other wise just know you are giving canes money for free if not!! I went to Popeyes after all this and will continue to go to Popeyes every Monday and Friday instead of Canes, who I use Togo to every Monday and Friday, me and my whole shop, you guys just lost $65 every Monday and $65 every Friday, so $130 a week, $520 a month gone. Popeyes now has...
Read moreIt's been a while , about 2 years, since I've eaten from here because I started eating with less salt and eating healthier. Nothing was wrong with the food, I just cut out fast food. The food is not bad just tasteless now. I was trying to treat myself, probably not the right words, to a fast food meal, guess I shouldn't have. I ordered a 3 finger box and asked if my bread could be crispy and my friend got the same but asked for them naked with a crispy bread. I know prices have changed, portions but wording? Out of about 6 or so people, 1 new wha5 we were talking about when saying naked chicken. Anyway, got the order in, I hope the drive through still has more upbeat staff, fixed our drink, still the most awesome tea!!!, our meal is called. I'm so ready to have something I shouldn't be eating. My so tiny, but wonderfully hot chicken fingers had absolutely no flavor on, not even salt. The sauce still taste amazing so I dipped a lot. Fries had a great portion but no salt. The bread was lightly buttered and still soft. The naked chicken had a good flavor but tiny. I guess I unders sold my thought of what the food used to be? Maybe they are trying to be healthier with seasoning, salt, but I wish I was getting the taste and size, especially for the price, like...
Read moreThis particular Canes off of St.Nazairre in Broussard is great but when we go through the drive thru and start to order our food, the cashiers are always cutting me off mid sentence to wrap up my order before I even finish telling them the entire order. I dont like that especially when my kids are talking at the same time as I am talking and I have to tell the cashier to hold on , they insist on interrupting me. I don't know if they are timed for each customer to order but I believe they should just be patient and chill out. Now one thing I would love to comment on is their minimal menu and pricing. They are really high for such small amounts of food. And anything extra like toast or sauce is always extra but too extra. You know what I mean. They should atleast offer two sauces if you are ordering 4 to 6 pieces of chicken and an extra toast as well. My children and I can share the 6 piece but when it comes to deciding who gets the toast and sauce it never works out. I always order 3 extra toasts and sauces off the top. And I think that Canes should offer more of a variety to their meals. Maybe some sides or deserts. I always wish they would have atleast one desert to satisfy my sweet tooth after eating all...
