This new French Press is really nice! Very clean, friendly staff. I've eaten at the bar with a friend twice because it was so busy, which we were good with! I got the Breesus which I actually found to be dry, while my friend got the Croque Madam sandwich which looked amazing AND tasted amazing! We ordered the large french press in. The coffee is truly so delicious! The bar drinks look amazing too, No, I haven't tried them because I can't drink in the morning. Lol On our second visit we ate at the bar again, which has a nice bustling fun vibe. The coffee was amazing again, so I appreciate the consistency. I ordered the wedge salad which was pretty good, but also a bit dry and needed more dressing. And not actually a wedge at all šŸ˜‚ no iceberg, no blue cheese, but a great salad. My friend got the sauce piquant and it had great flavor, but it was extremely rich, kind of a big meal to be all one deep smokey flavor. It would benefit from a little variation. All in all I think the atmosphere, the staff and the quality of the food will keep us coming back to discover our favorites!

My husband and I arrived at 1pm with no cars in the parking lot. We walked in and was spoken to and sat quickly. There was no one in there. We were given waters and I ordered a small French pressed coffee. We ordered quickly. I ordered a small french press wedge salad that had fried chicken strip. My husband ordered the Breesus Boudin biscuits. My French pressed offer arrived. He explained how to use it. But, when I poured it tons of grounds came out. We asked our waiter, he said he could remake it. That sometimes the filter messes up. I still drank one cup of the coffee, which was great besides the grounds. Our food arrived within 10/15 minutes. It came out quickly and it was AMAZING. My chicken was fabulous. The salad was beautiful. It was the perfect size. My husband's potatoes and biscuits were great. Service and the entire place was amazing. Will definitely try again.

This was our first time eating here. We drove in from Alexandria LA. We started off with 2 appetizers the truffle fries and the praline bacon. They both were delicious. My friend and I ordered the Cajun Benedict. Toasted French bread, boudin patty, American cheese, 2 poached-medium eggs topped with our chicken & andouille gumbo. We both enjoyed our meal. It was quite delicious. Our other friend ordered the chicken and waffles. Fried chicken strips tossed in LeBlancs Cane Jelly on top of a cheddar waffle. She enjoyed her meal as well. I had a POINSETTA mimosa and the had the french press mimosa. Both drinks were great. Our server was very nice and pleasant. We didn't want for anything. She made us feel cared about. The atmosphere was calming very peaceful to eat here. I would recommend coming here to eat again.

First time we came it was great, this most recent visit was a joke. Put in our name to be called with an estimated wait of 20-25 minutes. 50 minutes later we check in and they wrote down the phone number wrong. We get seated right away after that, and they offer to comp some stuff. If this had been it, I wouldn't be here because mistakes happen.

We put in our full order together, 1 app 2 entrees. For some reason they bring them all out at once. The app is the gumbo fries, and it was easy to tell they had been sitting for a while. Why not just bring the app before? They were soggy and gross by the time we got them.

We had to get silverware off of another table after our food arrived because the waitress who brought our food(different from the one who took our orders/filled our drinks) didn't stick around for us to ask. My pancakes sat on the table and extra 5-10 minutes before I was given any butter or syrup(it came with no butter on it).

The pancakes are 12$ for 3 with no option for fewer pancakes, which would be fine, if they didn't say .75 cents per add on. I do 2 add ons. They charge .75 PER PANCAKE. So it's actually 2.25 per add on, so the menu is a rip off too.

I don't think we'll be back. The waitress who filled our drinks/took our order was nice, we still left a tip, but the rest was an...

Was my favorite place to eat and an absolute treat, up until a week ago. I wasn't allowed to place an order over the phone, i got there and waited about 20 minutes for my food, at the bar which made no sense. I had to wait either way, i would've preferred picking up for my then to be sitting idle and uncomfortable at the bar. I over heard servers saying another customer said they wouldn't feed food from here to their dying pet. After spending approximately $27.00 in food, I got home to notice my salad was missing eggs and avocado. My wedge also didn't have any wedge, just leaf lettuce. The most disappointing was the gumbo that was just brown slime, no meet at all. It was like the bottom of the pot literally except in this case i was charged full price for chicken and sausage gumbo that had no chicken or sausage AT ALL!! I literally poured it down the drain, just liquid. It took two phone calls and almost a week for the manager to call me back about my issue. I will never ever ever set foot in this place. I was offered a gift card but took a refund instead, the experience, food, etc was too much...
