Zeus Express (Chevron) — Restaurant in Lafayette

I've eaten at regular Zeus many times and really enjoyed it. I have to say I really didn't enjoy my combo plate from Zeus Express as the serving size seemed quite small and tiny when compared to other Middle Eastern food experiences I've had including Zeus itself. Perhaps I just ended up with bad luck on an off night or something but I wasn't very happy with the small portion size of my meal after paying the price I paid. This seemed to be a Zeus location like the others in town but the "express" part maybe changes how they do things here? The service was fast with taking my order while the delivery of my order was an above average amount of time as well. I ate my meal inside and didn't even get it to go but it was packaged like it was to go so maybe that is the deal with this location as perhaps they focus mainly on carryout food? Overall I was just left HANGRY and unhappy with what I ended...

The food is always delicious here, but I'm sorry to say there is a very rude employee named Zahara who doesn't know how to speak to people. The last time I called I didn't understand what was said when the phone was answered, so I asked who I was speaking to (thinking maybe I dialed the wrong number) and she very rudely said "you called me who are you?!" Before I could ask if this was Zeus she hung up on me so I double checked the number (which I had dialed correctly) and called back (the same number) and spoke to her again and placed my order. I asked her her name after I placed my order and she told me Zahara. I recognize her voice and also there have been times when I have gone to pick up food there and she has been very rude to me...

The food is great at Zeus. The cashiers for the gas are stealing though. I went in for a 24oz beer. The cashier rang up 5.89 or so. I ran my card before noticing. So I asked wait that must be for two beers then. She said no the price went up. I went in the next day just to test them. Bought the same beer the price on the cooler door said 2.39. A different cashier rang up almost 6 dollars again. I said the price on the door says 2.39. So she sent another cashier to the back to look. They ended up charging me the correct price, 2.39. I got suspicious and went back to the cooler and the second cashier had ripped the price...
