La Pizzeria Lafayette — Restaurant in Lafayette

This use to be my favorite pizza restaurant. But I went today ( haven't been in a few months) and the spinach dip was good, they have recently started charging move as it is now in a smaller container. Then the pizza was terrible. It was served to us at best warm. And cheese didn't even cover all of it. And we were the second couple of the day to enter the restaurant at opening. In the past the pizza is always piping hot with yummy stringy cheese.. not the case at all. Prices have gone up and quality has went down tremendously. When I voiced my concern to our waitress about less cheese and it being only warm she was like I know.. ownership changed a few years ago.. and we were like, no, just a few months ago it was delicious. She said she apologized and that was about it. We won't be back. I realize that sometimes everyone has a bad day including restaurants but there wasn't an excuse. WE WERE LITERALLY there at almost opening time with only 1 couple there in the restaurant besides us. They were VERY STINGY with cheese and Ive never had to ask for extra cheese. We will now be on the search for a new pizza restaurant . This is a photo of the pizza when it arrived at Table. Adding to the response to their response. The spinach dip use to be a deep bowl just 6 months ago. Now's it's a 3" ish small dish . So yes, it has definitely changed to a smaller size.. and I'd love to hear your excuse as to why the pizza quality has changed; way less cheese that doesn't even cover the entire pizza and somewhat over cooked. . Yikes. Bad for business to be inconsistent. Maybe you don't have a great team of cookers or you have decided to put less cheese, or maybe you have decided to let the pizza sit for 15 minutes before bringing to the table. Either way, we won't be back. I spoke with a few of my friends tonight that agrees that it's went down hill these past 3-6 months. I won't be recommending. I hope you make a few changes for the better to keep customers happy . When you were struggling, my family was a huge supporter.,. We love supporting local businesses that value...

My family and I stopped here for dinner last night. It was one of the worst restaurants I've ever been to. Before I get into that I want to mention the place is clean and bright. Our waitress was nice and friendly, she gets 5 stars. Now on to the food....we started with appetizers. The cheese curds 4/10. They were ok. The meatballs had to be sent back because they were frozen in the middle. French onion soup was good. I ordered the eggplant parmesan. There is 3-4 pieces of eggplant, but they are not really individually in pieces, but breaded and fried together. Definitely a pre made frozen product. Tasted like old fry grease. 0/10. My fiance ordered the chicken marsala. I have never seen fried chicken used in marsala before....it was so over fried he couldn't finish it because the outside of the chicken was rock hard. 0/10. My youngest got the meatball sandwich. The bread was so hard and old it hurt his mouth when he tried to eat it. 0/10. The bread on the plates...not fresh. Picked it up to take a bite and it crumbled. My other son got a pizza, he said it was pretty good. 8/10. If you stop here just order pizza only. Definitely not the quality of food for the prices. Fresh ingredients would made the food amazing. Now I see why this place was empty. After we sent back the meatball appetizer and being served the food we did, we paid our $108 bill and went somewhere else...

Three friends of mine, and I went to La pizzeria yesterday, and the waitress could not have been more hateful. She was very rude, very matter-of-fact, did not take any of our needs into consideration in any kind of way, and she even abandoned our table before we left. I had requested that just before I leave I would place an order for, my sister to go, and she had it ready probably at least a half hour before I even thought about ordering it. So it was good and cold when my sister got it. They had the meats in it, but no cheese and she said you had to specifically now ask for cheese or they don’t put it. That makes no sense. The calzones have always had cheese before , but she didn’t tell us that before the fact, she told us that we complained. I asked the other waitress her name because I told her the next time I come in I want her to help us. But I never want the waitress we had yesterday. The food was mediocre at best and the entire experience was extremely disappointing. Two of the friends that I Invited to join me yesterday was their first time there. I was so embarrassed for them. Oh, I’ll be back, but I will never ever have the waitress...
