Husband ordered tamale dinner. Menu does not state nor did waiter explain it had red sauce much less crushed whole tomatoes on top of tamales. We told waiter and he said he would discuss with manager. He then comes back and asks why he didn’t like it so husband explained he does NOT like tomatoes crushed, whole or sauce. Why do you put red sauce on tamales anyway? So waiter advised that they are under new management and in order to make a go of things, the manager told him the cost of my husband’s plate would come out of his salary! Of course, we said what?? He’s a young man waiter. Who wants to deny him his pay? Wasn’t his fault. Just give some more tamales and put no sauce. No, wouldn’t do it and still charged us for the uneaten plate. We have gone to El Paso many, many times. After this experience, we won’t be going anymore! Treating your customers as such, I don’t see a future for this location at all. You just lost some good...

Food was fine, my review is regarding drink size and the floors. First, if you sell huge cups for your alcoholic beverages, that is fine, but it would be nice if you would tell the customer that before the order. We ordered large margaritas and the huge 48 oz or 64 oz cup that was given to us was just ridiculous. $50 for 2 margaritas that I drank hardly any of because it was way too much. Please next time just warn your customers that they are huge and we can just order a small or kid size.

Secondly, your floors are way too slippery. Our 7 yo was trying to wash his hands and the floors were so slippery that his feet slipped out from under him and he slammed his face/chin into the sink. This was in front of my husband. He was not horsing around, just trying to wash hands and he was injured because your floors were not cleaned correctly. I would rate a no star for food and service. My boyfriend and I go pretty often to this El Paso's when we are in town. Always get great service and food! This experience wasn't at all good, Started off with our waitress telling us she had a cough that's why she is standing back from our table! We were kind of skeptical at first but continued to order our food. Once we received our food the waitress served the wrong Quesadilla and let me tell you this quesadilla should have been a kids meal it was that small! And when we confronted the waitress that it was shrimp not steak she argued with us instead of fixing the issue.
