Very very good coffee. Unlike Fountain City Coffee in Columbus GA, the counter does not argue with me about my order. They also do not mansplain what cold brew coffee is here. They are laid back, take your order, take your money, then give you what you order.

The atmosphere is nice and shabby chic small town charm.

The desserts we had were on point. I do hate cream cheese frosting on sweets, even so their cinnamon roll was fire. Obviously made in house soft and gooey.

The only point of contest I have is the price of regular foods here is a little high for what you get. The food (we had a Reuben) is well made. The portion size is just small. With desserts you can get away with this, but with a sandwich I was left wanting a...

The barista‘s were very nice and helpful. That’s about all I can say that was good about our visit. We paid $18.50 for a charcuterie board. Literally, it was Walmart special event crackers, Sam’s Club cubed Colby Jack and pepper jack cheese, soggy cucumbers, peanuts, string cheese with some salami wrapped around it, and some dry Sam’s Club celery sticks, grape tomatoes and baby carrots. Pinwheels were soggy with wilted greens. And we weren’t the only ones that noticed this. Two other ladies came in at the same time we were there and complained about their $18.50 board and left without touching it. Coffee was just mediocre. Tasted a bit watered down. I love to patronize local coffee shops but this one I will not be...

You just can't get and train good help these days. As I stood in front glass display case this morning eagerly waiting to taste one the scrumptious looking pastries, I was greeted with a hello; that was the extent of the customer service. As the only customer in-line, I waited in front of the display case. The cake box folder, directly in front of me, carefully folded her cake boxes. The cashier at the register dutifully manned her station. The Barista waited to do what Baristas do. No one said, may I help you, do you have any questions, are you ready to order. I can't remember a pastry shop I have visited where someone didn't provide customer service at the display case. They did say good day as I...

5 Stars for Ambiance & Atmosphere 3 Stars for Price/Quality of Cinnamon Roll & brewed coffee ($4.50 is too much for what you get with the cinnamon roll... And it doesn't seem like they are consistently made) There was a brand new baking sheet that were generously iced and we got one from the sheet that was already started. Very little icing. They also warmed it with a microwave. 😐 Seems like they have only one roast of coffee brewed and I don't know what to compare it too... But it seemed like a light roast brewed strong. It wasn't my favorite. I will come back to this place because I am all about supporting local businesses, but I wouldn't buy another cinnamon roll & maybe I will try one of their other coffees.

Okay...so I loved the atmosphere of this place. We were visiting from out of town and we found this place after visiting Pretty Good Books bookstore. My cappuccino was excellent. My wife ordered a cinnamon roll and a spicy chai latte. She was a little disappointed. The cinnamon roll was a still cold in the middle and the she said the chai latte was too spicy. That being said the staff was friendly and the cafe had a wonderful ambiance. If I am back in town I will stop here again.
