Date night at our favorite little Italian restaurant ❤️

I had this restaurant picked as a possible dine in after we finished at a day pass at Great Wolf Lodge. It's located less than 10mims away. Really nice quaint downtown Lagrange location. We went at around 530pm and we were greeted right away. Our server was Jayda. She was very informative and pleasant. Evwrything sounded amazing so we ordered the mussels, artichoke, and French onion soup as appetizers. The bread was ok that was probably the only thing not 5 stars. The dipping oil was delicious and flavorful. The fried artichoke was lightly fried with a delicious mouthwatering brown caper sauce...it was so good I would have asked to take the sauce home. The mussels were even more delicious. The sauce was perfect. The mussels were absolutely delicious. French onion soup was magnificent with the light broth that was full of flavor. Dinner...well dinner had a salad and when I asked which dressings Jayda said they have an in house dressing white balsamic..i fell in love with it that I bought 2 bottles to take home. Dinner...now i ordered the special that night which was a spicy red sauce with salmon spinach shrimp with angle hair and man...it was perfect. The salmon was perfectly cooked with a flake and a brown crust of blackened seasonings. The shrimp was delightful and the spinach was fresh and delicious. My son loves everything we had as well as an order of the kids pizza and chicken alfredo and we added mushrooms. His pasta was delicious I'd do it again over the pizza anytime. I'd highly recommend eating here if you are in the area. It's so worth it.

This place has a neighborhood feel- nothing fancy - dated but clean. The server was very friendly. The service was extremely slow, especially considering that the place was only a third full. I arrived at the restaurant around 7:15 and ordered very shortly thereafter. The server explained that the bread was about to come out of the oven. After a short wait, she brought out the bread, which was hot and quite good. I was nearly done with half the loaf before my salad arrived and there was a lengthy span between the time I finished my salad and when my entree arrived (at nearly 8:00). The chicken parm was was only lukewarm, which led me to believe it may have been sitting in the window cooling for a while before it was brought to me. The cheesecake, which I ordered to go was pretty good, not too dry. The strawberry puree tasted slightly fermented. At the end of the meal the server explained that there was a 3.5% fee for using a credit card and presented a sheet with a detailed explanation. This was fine as I had seen this noted on the door as I entered. Upon review of the sales slip, though, I noticed that the fee was not included. Upon closer review of the explanation sheet, it said that the fee would be added at the end of the night on top of the total (including tip) and would be included on the tip line. Since I was travelling on business and needed my receipt to reflect an accurate total and because we are only allowed to have 15% on the tip line this was a problem. The server called the manager at home and was told to waive the fee and that they were getting a new system to better handle the fee. All in all, it was an okay dinner. I would go back, but not before sampling some of the...

I am one of the leaders on our children’s ministry family trip to Georgia where we used Venucci to cater 54 individual meals for our 16 families on the trip. Tulla and Britt were amazing to work with. They were very communicative and made sure we had all the options we needed. They were sure to contact us 2 days before the meal was to be delivered and make sure there were no changes and to confirm the date, time and location of our catering delivery. Our families absolutely raved about all of their food. The portions were extremely generous and the pasta was so fresh. We had a variety of food including spaghetti with meatballs, lasagna, penne with vodka sauce, chicken tortellini carbonara, eggplant parmesan, grilled chicken salad, butter pasta and chicken tenders. They offer gluten free pasta options as well which was used for 2 of our group members with gluten allergies. I was told that the gluten free pasta was amazing. The salad with the meals was just as delicious as the main course. After our meal was delivered we received a call to make sure everything was correct, making sure everyone was satisfied and enjoying their meal. The customer service from Venucci was top notch. I couldn’t recommend...
