I didn't expect something like this in Lagrange! I'm so glad it's here, though. I grew up in the North and was taught to ice skate at an early age. This sure brings back memories. My children, who have not grown up ice skating, really enjoyed themselves. So, it's for beginners and veterans alike. They even have something to hold on to while you skate, if you're a beginner.
The skates are good quality, although they could be sharper. They should probably run the Zamboni at least every 90 minutes or so, to keep the ice fresh. They'll get it down, though. I'd prefer more family friendly music, as well. We'll most likely be back out there again before February 18th....
Read moreGreat facility! Very nice rink for our area, good equipment But 0 organization or supervision kids skating the wrong direction and cutting across the ice. Got tripped up twice and had at least a dozen near misses. I spoke to one of the people there and after about 15min she made an announcement along with something very brief about skating in the same direction. Did not solve the problem at all. Kids totally ignored it. No one on the ice. Also the ice was heavily grooved and had deep puddles of water on both sides. No attempts at all to smooth anything out. Very disappointed! It’s expensive not to be...

I assume they only smooth the ice at the end of every day and know one was wearing masks. It was very hot and I understand but just like literally no one was wearing one. Also there were rude kids every we're that kept on running into me and playing bummer cars on ice with other kids. On the website it says that it is required that everyone was to wear a mask but they were not. That is why I gave a 3 star review. I still loved the experience and have already recommend it to a few...
