Location is great, hallway was clean, bathroom floor was a little sticky, yuck.
One star is because tonight being my first time back in a theater in about 9 years to watch the Minecraft movie with my 12 year old nephew. Apparently there is a Chicken Jockey trend on tiktok where a bunch of teenagers think it is cool to trash the theater with popcorn when Jack Black says "Chicken Jockey".
I got doused in popcorn from these teenagers, HORRIBLE experience and won't be back. Apparently this trend has been going for a WHILE and theaters are still hosting large teenager groups? Isn't it OBVIOUS what's going to happen? These latest generations are the most braindead and disrespectful I've ever experienced. They repeated clapped loudly like when Jack Back first showed up and were all cheering like they were at a football game. They did this multiple times throughout the movie. I paid 34 dollars to have my experience ruined for me and my nephew, thanks AMC....
Read moreby far my worst movie watching experience in a theater. it hardly tolerable. the theater is showing its age and very run down. AMC charged a premium price and just didn’t deliver. i watched sonic 3 on a Thursday afternoon. it cost $28 for one ticket, icee and a (cold and stale) bag of popcorn. The staff were friendly and helpful, but that was the extent of the good. i was seated in auditorium 6. the ceiling tiles were falling down, the seats (stiff and uncomfortable), the screen was fuzzy and horrible picture quality (my biggest complaint). the previews started 10 minutes late, so i sat for almost 30 minutes waiting on the movie to start. before the previews started the screen kept flashing PC IN 720p… beyond sad that in the world of 4k Ultra HD a brand like AMC is still playing movies in fuzzy, blurry low quality 720p. Will definitely be driving to Columbus or Atlanta next time and pay the extra couple bucks for comfortable recliner seats, and 4k...
Read moreWould give no stars, if it were an option. We've been going to this theater for years, and ever since AMC took it over it's gone down hill. Went on a Friday night at 7:00, and only two people were working the counter. The drink machine was disgusting, and the employee monitoring the drink machine wasn't bothering to clean. He even made customers wait so he could fill up his personal cup. Then they don't have anyone monitoring the actual theaters. I understand people whisper during movies, and I understand babies cry. However, this was the majority of the theater talking, couldn't even hear the movie. Children were yelling to each other down the aisle. People jumping from one theater to the next, coming in midway through the movie. It was so chaotic I felt like I was in a middle school cafeteria. Apparently AMC doesn't believe in any type of management. We usually go to the movies three times a month, but I don't think you could pay me to go back...
