Absolutely disgusting service. It took them 50 minutes to serve my two young children their chicken tenders and 45 minutes to serve my husband and I our 2 sandwiches. It wasn't because they were busy, it was because we were not locals. We walked in, sat down and ordered. All of the tables that were in when we came finished their meals and left. New people came in and both of those tables that came in 15 minutes after we had already put our order in were served their food. They were both finished eating by the time my children were served their tenders. The server could tell that I was thinking what the heck when they brought the table beside us his food as we were already waiting 35 minutes at that point and he shouted accross the room, he only had a salad. Mind you it was a grilled chicken salad and that was very unprofessional. At that point we still hadn't said anything but were contemplating just leaving and going elsewhere but we thought, no if we leave we will have to wait somewhere else. Both the other tables were finished eating by the time my children were served their chicken. When he brought the food he very disingenuous said sorry it took a long time and I said "yeah 50 minutes " to which he replied "wow 50 minutes" and then walked away. No real apology, no let me take the tenders off, not even let me take the tea off. Nothing. I've never been so disgusted by treatment at a restaurant. We are staying at great wolf lodge but wanted to give local establishments a try and support them but this particular one was a big mistake and we won't...

I had a hankering for a really good breakfast, something lagrange Ga seriously lacks! And this was not it!! First there is no greeting or explanation of if you seat yourself or wait. I got our menus and sat us. Drinks came promptly and accurately. We ordered hobo skillet over medium, sausage biscuit , grits, French toast and bacon. The skillet is potatoes, cheese and eggs. My first skillet came cooked extra hard. The 2nd one came back cooked properly, but was a soggy, dirty tasting, flavorless pile of mush. The sausage biscuit was inedible because the biscuit was flavorless and seemed steamed from being frozen and fell apart and the sausage tastes expired. The grits were seriously undercooked and was like biting into wet sand. The French toast was soggy. The bacon was cooked fine and the coffee was good. We did not eat the food. $25 total bill for food that was thrown in the trash. The waitress was also bothered because we aren't chatty. I came with someone I wanted to talk to, I was friendly but just didn't want to make small talk. She needs to learn it's ok if some people don't want to know she has 2 kids aged 3 and 10 and if she needs a drill and what her Thanksgiving plans are in one week. Sometimes, it's ok to...

let me start off with the food here is great! The service is a joke. We get there and there are two tables left, a 2 seater and a 4 seater. It says wait to be seated. A guy comes up to seat us and we say we have 4 total, 2 are on the way. He says I will seat you when they arrive. we stand up with no where to sit for 10 mins or more and lose the table that we could have been sitting at and already ordering drinks. Then told there were no tables available anymore, we would have to wait longer, so we left. while we stood, we had to watch everyone eat and stare at us. very unprofessional for a hole in the wall diner. this was not a five star place. we are locals who have eaten here before, but i will not be back as long as that is their policy. I feel like we were treated unfairly. We were there and there was a vacant table. people that came in after we stood for 10+ minutes got it right away. This is bad business. I want to thank the local Waffle House for taking care of us after we left. Gus' needs to take note, as Waffle House treated us like...

I've been having serious foodie withdrawals since moving back to the "deep" south. We went from 15 or so completely different local spots within walking distance to nothing in walking distance and most things spread out across town. So, it was nice to find a decent established local spot that everyone enjoys. Friendly service and the owner in the back whipping up dishes. Plates are not super fancy but flavors are done very well. The options are mostly sandwiches and salads. One of the only places in town to find a good Gyro. I opted for the Alpine mushroom bacon and Swiss burger with fries. We ate at the counter so it sort of felt like eating at an old school diner or soda fountain. That's just fine by me. Place closes up at 2pm, so if you got a hankering then hanker on over before then. You'll be pleasantly surprised. 🤓

Everyone enjoyed the food, service, and experience. I had the cheesburger and tatar tots and both were very good. The burger wasn't complicated, just old style goodness. The tots were grease free and crisped just right. Tea was good too. The staff were friendly and very cheerful, like they were having the best day. Nice inside and full of customers on a Friday lunch time. Breakfast served all day. Big parking lot beside the establishment. I took a 14 ft motorcycle trailer in there, but there weren't too many cars parked inside that lot at the time. Only one entrance and exit, and it's a sharp right turn out. We just had to wait on a slow traffic moment. The prices were good as was the food and service, so we'll stop again.

Touches of memories all throughout the restaurant. Memories with his family, and memories with members of the community. Completely perfect to get a feel of the people of LaGrange. My Gyro Philly was fantastic! Gus (who is Greek by birth) was on the grill in the back and is said to prepare the gyro meat himself. I believe it! While sitting at the bar on a weekday, there had to have been at least 20 people coming in for pick-up orders in 45 minutes. This place is obviously a local favorite, for a reason. Homemade tzatziki sauce is with almost every dish and that alone is worth the stop.
