I remember when this place first opened over 2 years ago. There were lines of people applying and I think it was over a thousand applicants. What in the world happened? My wife and I went to the drive-thru cuz we were trying to order fast. After 5 minutes at the drive-thru window we backed out of the drive-thru and went inside because everything we said was not what he was repeating back to us. Our encounter inside was no better. We continue trying to order and nothing seem to make any sense. The way the sales show up on the board with special pricing and then disappear and are not represented on the board when they're not showing. Very unhelpful. We finally got an order complete and got our food and were quick to get out of there because we had already spent way too much time. We got home and found out we were missing an item. I took the opportunity to go back to the store and explain a very simple math process to the kids working behind the counter. The receipt taped to the outside of the bag had six items listed. I explained very carefully and repeatedly that the most basic level of their job was to put six things in a bag. Even if they were the wrong things the most basic level of their job would be to put six things in the bag. I have no idea what that large receipt on the outside of the bag was for because we had five things in our bag. I then took it upon myself to do the manager's job which the manager at this location is definitely not doing. And explain to them that their job was at the most basic level to count the number of items and have the proper number of items in the bag. Even if it was the wrong food somebody has something to eat. If you rip off an item from the bag and don't put it in there somebody will have nothing to eat. That makes people angry. What's makes people angry a little bit less, is when the wrong food is in the bag. I'm hoping that the level of competence will be raised by one little little little little bit. My math lesson lasted about 10 minutes and was very clear. The two little boys behind the counter had their tails between their legs and they look like they might put the right number of things in a bag throughout the shift. I just don't have any guarantee that they'll do it tomorrow. I will not be back at this location or any Dunkin Donuts ever again. Horrible tasting food, horrible service, major letdown, and there's so many options within 3 minutes of this location that...

Service from all levels are amazing here, donuts are always fresh, coffee is always fresh (iced or hot), and better yet they have amazing hours! Steen and Joseph are so amazing there!
Let's not forget about national free coffee day and all the cool specials they seem to have!!!? No gimmicks! Literally yesterday was free hot and iced darkroast any flavor you wanted with regular iced coffee for $.99!!! What kind of specials and events other coffee places around have been doing for coffee or donuts, especially Starbucks? Just let that sink in how much $ you're wasting on companies that don't care about you, or their coffee or donut products.
People who say they're from Boston area who give this exact location a "negative outlook" seems to be comparing how DDs was back maybe 15+ years ago...I just came from working and managing a line of really good high volume DD stores in Massachusetts over the last 4 years... And I have to tell you this store does everything and then some that DDs back east do. There is literally nothing different from the northeast and their donuts are even better than Boston's!!! Why? Because they don't order donuts for the whole day!!! It's baked fresh a few times a day!!! The iced dark roast coffee even tastes better!!! This has been literally the best managed DD I've seriously ever been to. I lived in New England and if you're going to negative compare this to how your DD was in the NE 10+ years ago do some research because they were never like that years ago when I got into the business!!! So please don't give this location your New England cocky attitude when you weren't near the business when there was a huge franchise change only 6 or 7 years ago that I personally feel made the company better and more...
Read moreMmmmmm..... Donuts....
It's hard to give donuts a bad review and I've had those fancy shmancy $4-a-piece donuts that make you go broke after eating a dozen. Though the fancy shmancy donuts were undeniably better and are basically my dream come true, I will not complain --ever-- about a boston creme donut from Dunkin. It's been my favorite since I was a little girl and it brings me back to my happy place. I've always only had happy memories with my boston creme donut from Dunkin. Just thinking about a boston creme donut calms me down and makes me a lot less angry about everything else in my life. Maybe these people complaining about the parking situation (really, Cesar??? Learn to drive! ;P If Dunkin made you earn it, you'd be walking up the hill!) will feel better after having a donut. Sorry, as I said, I have some anger issues. I think you're okay, Cesar. My bad.
In all seriousness, this Dunkin location is awesome because it has a drive thru and it's less than 10 minutes from my house. Customer service isn't always warm and friendly, but they've never messed up my food and as far as I know, never spit in my drink. And all I really need is competent service when I do get my donut or occasional croissant with cheese and ham. Some may call it low standards, but I call it realistic expectations from a drive thru in OC at Dunkin. But if they mess up my order or spit in my drink, I will unleash the wrath of my 1...
