Ate lunch with kid and he went to play. Another family near me had their kids on computers quietly doing homework so thag they could finish and go play. One of the staff (not a manager) took break sat right behind me and near them and proceeded to have a 30 minute conversation ON SPEAKER PHONE! I couldn't take the loud speaker anymore so I collected my kid and on the way out I thought I'd tell the supervisor. I get not being able to do anything about a guest being SO RUDE, but if it was my staff being so rude and disruptive to my guests I would certianly want to know so I could tell my staff to knock it off. When I told the manager, hey fyi that's pretty bad in a mcdonalds uniform to sit there and be so loud and obnoxious. Manager told me it's not illegal. She is on her break and she can't tell her not to be disruptive and rude. Now I'm guessing if I came in there being loud with my Netflix show playing on a a blue tooth speaker, my guess is they wouldn't appriciate this. Worse she just kept saying no there is nothing they can do about a mcdonalds representative being rude to guests while they eat. Never going back there again. I stopped there twice a week after visiting my grandma so my kid could play. From now on we will head back to Long Beach and go to Chick FIL a to eat and play on THAT playground after trips to see grandma. Tgis was a shift manager btw, but the actual store supervisor was sitting right there eating heard the staff, heard my complaint, did absolutely NOTHING. I was also there for a regional meeting once, because staff keeps getting burns. And the corporate manager asked the store supervisor what happened. Store manager said the staff that got burned refused to wear protective gear. Corporate rep had to tell the store manager that means both of them were getting a write up because if the store manager knew he wasn't wearing protective gear and did nothing then he was just as much at fault as the employee. The shock on this guy's face when he realized ge would be responsible for his employees actions. obviously OBVIOUSLY this whole store morning into the afternoon and evening NEED COMPLETELY NEW MANAGER STAFF. Read moreThe staff screwed up my order 3 times during the same visit. I ordered a large fries and a double quarter pounder with cheese. When I got to the register they rang up my order as a double cheeseburger and fries. So I corrected them and the cashier took my money and told me to pull forward and that my order would take an extra 5 minutes to make. When one of the staff came out with my order they forgot my fries. He asked me for my receipt and at they point as was getting a bit frustrated and I said, "You got to be kidding me." I gave him my receipt and he came back with the fries. I drive home and open my box for my burger and it is a regular quarter pounder with cheese not a double. At this point, my anger exceeds my hunger, so I pack up my meal and drive back to the restaurant. I talked to the manager and told her what happened and that the customer service was awful. She asked me what I wanted to do. I told her that I would have liked her to apologize, make me my correct meal and comp my meal for the hassle but the fact that I had to ask for it made me worry that I would likely get spit in my food. So I asked for a refund. The only reason I went to McDonald's was because I was hungry and it's closer to me than In-N-Out. I learned my lesson. Go to the In-N-Out off of La Paz and Avila.
