Here's the thing... Anything outside of you making your own sandwich is taking a chance with having it done the way you order it; bread included! I have not had a wrong order from Jersey Mike's! I have had an issue with the delivery driver not waiting for the complete order, but never the sandwiches themselves or the Customer Service!
If a Patron has dietary issues, perhaps they may want a " deconstructed" sandwich in the form of a bowl!
It's not the restaurants that need to accommodate their kitchens to standards of chronic digestive issues ( they will try, but that is not their target consumer), its the Patron who needs to make better dietary food & restaurant choices. Anyone with celiac issues knows your needs are almost "kosher" ! I had a college roommate who had their own cookware and dishes (which we knew NOT to use), and sometimes she had to miss going out with us because of the restaurant we were going to! She never made us feel bad about her issues and just let us know what it was and about; and a whole different way of eating, but she adjusted and was feeling better than before she was diagnosed., and not once did she make a restaurant feel bad about not being able fully accommodate her digestive issues.

Read moreI had only ever had Jersey Mike's once prior, at a different location, and was blown away by the food. But this time, I drove through horrible weather for sandwiches for my wife and I, but left thoroughly disappointed. I ordered two #10s (tuna), asked if one could be made into a tuna melt, and one cold. The melt was made and then set aside while I waited for the other sandwich to be made as other customers' sandwiches were made. After 15 mins I went back to the cashier to ask about the second sandwich (by now the melt was stone cold) and he had no idea where it was. I immediately asked for a refund for the unmade sandwich and left. Not to sound like a judgy dinosaur but I swear the employees were stoned, red-eyed and giggly; that may have contributed to my terrible experience. My wife forced me to eat half of her melt after I returned with no sandwich for myself and it was very disappointing. I'll never...
Read moreI guess ordering here has a learning curve.
Ordered a regular Italian sub.. they put the meat & cheese on the bread.. i said no veggies, and Asked if they toast the subs which began a bunch of confusion because the young kid behind the register doesn't speak up in an adult voice. Had to repeat himself 3x before the, I assume, manager spoke up and we REALLY couldn't understand her.
Eventually we piece together that they have toasters, but one was broken (what the heck does that matter if toasting is still an option?), and we'd have to request toasting BEFORE toppings are out on.
So you just toast the bread? What nonsense is that?
Customer service was just bad, and if i wanted a cold meat and cheese sandwich, I could have made that at home in my kitchen.
Lost my business. Anyone else want these free "buy one get one" cards? I won't b...
