This place is terrible. The food wasn't good and the service was so bad. We were given chips and "salsa" when we first arrived and the salsa was more like watered down marinara sauce. We finished our first batch of chips and it took forever to get more. The queso was thick, verging on solid. The waitress was not at all personable or welcoming and seemed like she would rather be anywhere else. She told us they were out of al pastor, which was the whole reason we went there, so my fiancé got chicken quesadillas and I got steak fajitas. It took forever to come out and the waitress brought me the wrong thing, but the weird thing is she seemed to know it before bringing it to me because before she gave it to me she asked if I ordered chicken or steak. When I reminded her I ordered steak, she asked me if I wanted chicken instead. tf?!? When I said "Sorry, no..." She looked annoyed and brought it back to the kitchen and brought the steak to me surprisingly fast (I don't know if she brought me someone else's order or if they just microwaved the steak real quick?) and offered no apologies for the mix up. The steak was overcooked and way too salty, but otherwise under-seasoned (as far as spices go). There was barely any meat - it was mostly onions. The rest of the food that came with the meal was bland. Our waitress brought us each one napkin for the entire meal and never checked on us to see if we needed extra napkins, refills, or if the food was okay until the end of the meal, when we were ready to get the check and leave. The prices here are also outrageous. My fiancé got a margarita which cost $18 and it wasn't even that good. Our bill came out to be just under $70 (before tip) for a chicken quesadilla, steak fajita, one margarita, and an iced tea, which is ridiculously overpriced, especially for how bland all the food was and how small the portions were. We will not be returning and I do not recommend this place at all. There are much better restaurants in the area with far better food, more reasonable prices, and better service. Don't waste...
Read more5/25 - Gave them another try. I really don’t see why people would choose to come here and judging from how empty the restaurant was on a weekend, I think many agree. Salsa was not up to par and the chips lacked salt. I retract my chips and salsa recommendation. Everything on the menu is overpriced. The menu on their website isn’t even close to the actual prices. With 25 restaurants in town serving the same uninspired Tex-mex at more reasonable prices, this is a pretty easy pass every time. Along with already being over priced, it felt like the portions on everything were lacking in every aspect with up-charges if you prefer the spicy salsa with your meal. The server was not very attentive for refills or ordering more drinks. Unless you have a big group, there are several other places that offer a better dining experience. This place has so much potential but it seems they regularly create bad press for themselves every few months by trying to sell parking spots for high prices, raising prices for cinco de Mayo as shown in another review, and crying on social media about bad customers.
2024- Not a standout for the crowded Tex-mex scene in town. The excitement of the well decorated Ryan’s carcass quickly wore off after 5 people were sat at a table for 4. Not much room for comfort. There were plenty of open tables that could have accommodated us as they were not too busy.
The salsa was one of the better ones in town and probably the highlight of the visit. The “steak” quesadilla wasn’t really made with steak but rather what seemed to be braised chuck. The Al pastor fajitas ($21) was mostly a plate full of onions and very little meat. I’ve never seen so many onions in any dish before. Service was mediocre at best. I didn’t order any margaritas but there were several that exceeded $20.
I would come here if I wanted some good chips and salsa, but I wouldn’t recommend it for much of...
Read moreThis was my first time to visit Pedro's. It was very nice inside. We met our large party. We were greeted promptly and shown to her table. We were approached very quickly and provided a menu and I ordered a flight of margaritas, my husband ordered a Dos XX on draft, one child ordered a water, and one child ordered a sweet tea. We received our drinks, I ordered a regular frozen margarita, the blue curca, sangria, and watermelon maragrita. The watermelon was by far my favorite of the bunch. We all ordered our food. I ordered the fajita trio, my husband ordered shrimp enchiladas, my oldest child ordered chicken wings, and my youngest child ordered some tortillas and wanted some of my beans and rice. The food came out quickly and it was hot. I tasted all of our dishes and they were good. I was disappointed in only having one (1) shrimp in my fajitas. I normally don't eat the chicken, but it was wonderful. I don't know what they marinated it with, but it was juicy and great. The steak was a bit tough for me personally. My husband's enchiladas were good. My children never eat chips and salsa at any Mexican restaurants, they complain of the spice level. Both children liked the salsa. After everything was done my oldest child wanted dessert. She ordered a fried ice cream. She loved it. I tried a bite and the crust was great! We will go back, but I will say, the prices are a tad higher than I would have liked to pay. Also, the wait...
