Horrible first experience.
We had a friend staying with us for a few nights and decided to order pizza. I am usually a Papa Johns person but he said he likes Pizza Hut so we ordered our 2 Pepperoni pizzas online. We placed our orders at 6:08pm. The email I received said the pizzas would be delivered by 7pm. We waited and were beginning to wonder what was going on when my phone rang. It is Pizza Hut corporate saying that the local pizza hut said that they attempted delivery and no one answered and called and no one answered. However, I had been sitting on my couch in front of my glass french doors the entire time waiting for the pizza and the phone had never rung. We live less than 2 miles from the store. So the lady from corporate said that she would call the local store and have them bring some fresh pizzas. So I said thanks and waited watching as every car went buy in case the person had a GPS that wasn't bringing them to the right house. After another 45 minutes, I called the local store. The person answered and I told her very nicely I was checking on my pizzas she said hold on a second and got a second person on the phone. This person tells me again that they tried to deliver and call. I said sorry but they must have gone to the wrong house and the phone never rang. Figuring that they would apologize and say they were sending the pizzas over. Nope. The person just stayed on the phone with no apology or anything. I said that corporate had called and said they would send more pizzas and he just repeated that he had sent the pizzas. Now in the time that I was waiting on my pizzas, the FedEx and UPS drivers had made deliveries. I had delivery by Waitr for lunch. No Problem. My house is literally a right turn and a right turn away from the Pizza Hut store. But after the way the manager treated me I can't imagine why anyone would order from here. So no more Pizza Hut on Nelson Rd for me. I can't imagine why they have a 1.5 on Yelp. Read moreI was SO very displeased with their customer service. I tried to place an order online when there was a 50% off any pizza promotion for online orders only and the totals were not calculating correctly- (ie $8.24 + $8.74 + $7.49 = $24.47, not $30.47 as online was calculating). When I called to speak with the store, the girl on the phone told me she couldn't help me and suggested backing out of the order and trying again to see if it would re-calculate correctly. When that didn't work I called back and reached the same girl. She told me that even though the subtotal didn't match what it should, that she couldn't place the order for me and add the 50% off in store because it was an online offer only. I accepted that and asked if I placed it online and came to pick it up if she could correct the price in store to what it actually should be and she said no to that as well. When I asked to speak with the manager, she told me that she WAS the manager. I asked if she simply didn't have the ability to adjust pricing in the store (as any manager should be able to do) and she said YES, she had that ability, but she wouldn't do it because it was "against policy". Suspecting that her unwillingness to help was unlikely a company policy, I called the next nearest Pizza Hut to confirm my suspicions. My suspicions were correct because after explaining the online situation to the 2nd store, they had no problem fixing it immediately.
The way this manager responded to this situation was appalling for anyone in the service industry & I don't know how she reached her position without having developed any customer service skills. I will NEVER order from this store again. They have absolutely no idea what good customer service is.

Read moreWe will NEVER go to this Pizza Hut again. Service was just atrocious. Staff was unfriendly, unhelpful, and all looked and acted like they'd rather be anywhere else but there. We'd called our order in ahead of time, and when we got there we were told it still wasn't ready, even though we'd given them a few extra minutes to prepare it just it case they were really busy. They were not, and besides us there was only 1 other person there, also waiting for his order. It took them another 20 minutes to finish our pizza! All this time the Buffalo wings we'd ordered had been sitting somewhere back there, getting cold. FINALLY got our order of greasy pizza and wings so cold part of them had actually begun to congeal, and the girl behind the counter didn't even bother saying sorry, or even Thank You!! If we hadn't been craving pizza and wings so badly it all would have been left there and we would have asked for a refund. Oh yeah, and they forgot the dressing lol. We LOVE Pizza Hut pizza and wings and know there are locations that are SO MUCH BETTER than this one, so this hasn't soured us on getting food from Pizza Hut again, thank goodness lol.
