Smalls Sliders — Restaurant in Lake Charles

My first experience here. I am a foodie, so here is my unbiased opinion. The “slide-thru” definitely needs a bit of work but the line moved fairly quickly considering being a new fast food restaurant. The car port with fans is great but I think extending them to the drive-thru window would definitely help keep your drive-thru customers cool considering the intense heat, not to mention your workers that are tending to the drive-thru window. The parking situation, I’m sure will be hammered out. I’m completely ignoring the 1 star reviews for something so benign for a place that offers food, not parking, just sounds like a lack of preparedness and communication but we are all human. The sliders are adequate, I’d say two sliders is more than enough for one person. The fries definitely stole the show with the jalapeño queso. There is an option to add queso to your fries or have it on the side. There’s also an option to add bacon to the sliders, which I did and again very adequate. I’m not much of a fast food eater so it’s probably why I find it adequate, not great BUT maybe burger eaters would like this spot. They also offer milkshakes. I’ve gone here twice, once picking up and another time in the drive thru. I have gotten my food pretty quickly (in under 15 minutes) even though they’re always busy. The sliders are very tasty and of course you could make something just as good at home but this is FAST FOOD lol.

Also the prices are pretty similar to what I pay for a Big Mac meal with a drink at McDonald’s but the flavor and quality is so much better! I get a 2 slider combo with a drink and it’s only $10 and some change. Fills me up perfectly.

They fixed the parking lot situation which is why the reviews for this restaurant is so low. There are no longer fences surrounding their drive thru which made it harder for other businesses’ customers to exit. I hope people give this place a chance instead of looking at...

Not even open yet and already scaring off customers. I was very excited to visit the Sprit Halloween that is adjacent to the new Smalls Sliders location. We parked in a parking close to where the restaurant was. They do have the area taped off but we were nowhere near the taped off area but as soon as we got out of car the employees proceeded to yell and scream at us to move our truck. If this is how their business treats people before the place has even opened I shiver at the thought at how they will treat people once they are open. I will not be giving this location my business and I will be letting everyone I know including friends and family not to give them any...
