The worst customer service I have experienced.

My family and I waited in line on 6/26 - Saturday evening. Of course there is a long line as I'm sure we all had our blizzard cravings. We arrived in drive-thru an HOUR BEFORE CLOSING and were turned away by the time we reached the intercom to order around 10:45p (yes, DQ closes at 10:30p) and being told "sorry, we're closed." UHM .. WHAT?! At this point we're livid because we've waited patiently in line with a kiddo waiting patiently in their car seat. We drove to the pick-up window and asked to speak with management. She informed us that they're closed and did not have enough ice cream made to accommodate anymore orders .. Okay, understood if you ran out of items but why in the world do you have an employee with a headset continuously walking out the back door to count how many cars are in line PRIOR TO CLOSING and not mention to YOUR CUSTOMERS that .. "Hello, just want to forewarn you we may not have enough ice cream to accommodate your order by the time you reach the intercom" that way it is up to the CUSTOMER to decide if they'd rather wait in line or take their family somewhere else before closing.

Of course, you cannot predict how many customers you will get each day but next time, please be considerate of your customers TIME.

This location is conveniently located among several other popular fast food restaurants. The stop is quick and easy to navigate from I-75, or if you're coming from within Lake City off of SR90. There are plenty of parking spaces and several to accommodate handicap folks too. This location does also include a drive through, but is not recommended for extra large vehicles. The inside of the store was clean, well kept, and was showing nothing in disrepair.

Service at this location is fair. There was no one rude or friendly...just service. There are no complaints with that. My order was completed timely for the number of customers it was serving.

On my visit I had dessert - a medium Reese's peanut butter cup Blizzard with an extra whole peanuts added. My ice cream had that always great tasting vanilla, however the toppings were not what was normal for a Blizzard with additional toppings. The ice cream was served as always upside down and was prepared properly...it was just lacking its toppings.

Overall I grade this location a C- and based on my experience I will give this location another try. A great product in a lucrative location just below average for this...

Recently I have stopped in this store twice within a couple weeks. On both occasions it has been an excellent experience. In a world where customer service is non existence especially in fast the food industry, this place set the standard. Happy, helpful, courteous employees who make you feel wanted. At placing my order the young man was so polite, I asked if he liked his Mgr? He replied oh yea she a very nice person. This explained his attitude I felt and ask to speak to the Mgr. The Mgr was present but off duty and thought she was coming to a complaint on her day off. As she approached I told her come on girl I want to brag on you. If you could have only seen her face. She wound up being a very pleasant person with a huge smile once she knew it wasn't a complaint. Just kidding. The staffing duty that day were all smiling, happy, and making their work place a better place. Congrats to the whole staff and thank you for such a great experience. Oh and by the way I had not ate at a diary queen in 15 years and now I'll be a regular. Also after peeking at the reviews I noticed that all lower reviews were for...
