Server with brown and red hair, working karaoke on the 11/22/23 has got to be the worst server I have EVER had. I honestly thought I was in a movie at some point first we were seated we sat there for about 40 minutes before she even took our drink order. Finally when we got our drink order, we never got them. I’m not kidding I legitimately never got them. I ended up going into the bar about an hour and a half later and asking the bartender to get them. Of course she had an attitude but at least I wasn’t thirsty anymore. Then after that, we were finally able to order our food. She brings out the fries within one minute after ordering them I’m not joking. She gave us cold fries and it been sitting in the window probably for somebody else. Then I ordered a to go meal. She did not listen to anything. I told her we still never got straws for any of our drinks. We asked for refills multiple times, and I can tell you the exact problem was she had a table of regulars behind us and she kept being attentive to them and never came to our table and now we’re regulars too but not as much we go maybe once a month and she ignored us the entire time we were there she was completely rude to us. I told her I had asked for waters at least four times, and she yelled at me and said, “I have multiple tables to deal with!”yeah you do but you know all your other servers made sure all their tables had drinks. If I go back to karaoke she will not be my server. That was BAD. At one point I was on the microphone and said “maam!” Loudly because once again she was chilling with the table behind us completely disregarding our request. I left a 2$ tip I shouldn’t have left her a penny. But I just can’t NOT tip. Urgh, I am so disappointed :( There’s also the rumor that everyone does 🍚 👃 in the back room. Read moreWe travel the country in an RV and happen to be staying over in Lake City. After a long day of driving we decided to go out to dinner. I went online and looked up restaurants near me and ran across Gators. I noticed they had a lot of great reviews and read through the recent ones. My wife and myself had dinner there and found the food and service to be top notch. Since we live in South Florida we will be back when we travel through again. My wife had accidentally left her purse behind at the restaurant and didn't realize it until the following morning. By the way, did we mention the drinks were amazing!!! We e-mailed the restaurant first thing in the morning and Facebook Messaged them letting them know about her purse and we were leaving and wanted to find out if they had found her purse. They don't open until 11:00am so we headed over there after we loaded up the RV to head home. It was about an 1-1/2 hours after we messaged them when they called us back. It was only 9:00am so we were pleasantly surprised and relieved when we got a call from a manager letting us know he had contacted the night manager for us and verified they did have her purse. Long story short, he contacted a server at the restaurant that was prepping for opening and had him bring out her purse. As with a lot of wives, her purse had a lot of items in it including $$$$$$. There was not one single item or dollar missing. This speaks a lot about the team that works there and how honest they are. It was very refreshing to find honest people in these days and times. Read moreA friend and I went to lunch today. We shared an order of tacos, which was $11.99, one drink was suppose to come with the lunch. We ordered Tea and Sprite. My friend also ordered sweet potato fries. When we were finished, I asked for the bill and the Server, Mary came with a 3x5 inch I-pad with the bill on it. The bill was for almost $30.00. I asked for a paper bill and she did not give me one. I asked her to tell me what all the charges were for. She stated that she had already added her gratuity to the bill and charged for 2 drinks, once of which came with the meal.
I explained to her that I did not agree with that practice, of the Server assigning the amount of the gratuity, and that I wanted to speak to the Manger. She went to the back and the Manager, Dana, came out and stated that Mary told him that I wanted to talk to him. I stated my grievance and he then chastised me for not letting him state his case. Essentially he told me that older people were going to have to get used to the changes with this new society. He also brought up COVID, which did not have anything to do with my grievance. He then asked me if I had any idea how much his electricity bill was last month. I told him that I did not know or really care. He stated it was $6,700. I informed him that I was sure my 30-40 minutes we were in the restaurant was just a few cents. I never got a printed copy of the bill and the tip was left on the table.
