Yum's — Restaurant in Lake City

Talk about YUM. The name says it all. I will be back here many times. They have Chinese food that I have not seen in years. The food was so hot, it burnt my mouth. You only get that with made fresh food. The flavor was as it sould be in Chinese food. All over the place, but complementing each taste individually. The pint of Won Ton Soup had NINE large won tons in it and the broth was perfect. Just enough grease to help everything go down easy. I also had the Hot and Spicy Beef and Vegetables. It was perfect. Comes with rice and an egg roll. The server was the owners daughter. She was sweet and has a great personality. The atmosphere is Chinese. Slight music in the background and Chinese decor.

We ordered from the wrong Chinese restaurant by mistake, and man was that a major mistake! The Sesame chicken was so tough, I mean like car tire tough….. nasty and inedible! The boneless ribs were fatty, chewy and just plain rotten and came lathered in a very strange looking deep red Chinese monkey sauce….. absolutely vile and quite horrible looking. Incredibly both of these dreadful dishes had no taste to them whatsoever. I simply cannot understand how or why any restaurant owner would bother or for that matter be allowed to be in business serving such unappetizing, unsavory and nauseating fare as this. FOR SURE the best Chinese restaurant in Lake City! Even better than the fancy places. Their food is always hot, fresh, and tasty! They really stuff their krab rangoons full! I love that. They give a big bowl of sweet & sour sauce. Prices are great, especially considering how much food you get. Plenty big enough to share. The General Tso Chicken has a good crunch to it, never soggy. My favorite thing is their Chicken Lo Mein. They put a lot of the vegetables in it. I have never had a bad experience at Yums. Service here is good, and they get your food to you...
