I always see restaurants like this on TV like Bar Rescue or Kitchen nightmares and I think to myself “It couldn’t be that bad.” But then you have it, and it really is.
I don’t like to be a complainer— but I am today.
I ordered a quesadilla. Pretty basic stuff right? I spent $18 after it was all said and done. That’s a lot because It was nasty. Let me draw you a picture.
It was soaked in oil and the meat quality was terrible. The vegetables inside were old and the tortilla was over cooked and fell apart because of all the oil. The cheese was such a low quality cheese that it contributed to the oil as well as the fajita vegetables that were fried in some cheap oil.
The staff was nice and professional, but the food was gross. There are some redeeming qualities but I think it’s time to shut the doors if you can’t get a quesadilla right. Basic.
I do not recommend this place. I wanted to like it but it’s all about the food, the price, cleanliness and service. 1 out of 4. There was no wow factor. There was however there was a sign that had there mission statement that if they had followed they would’ve been good.
It said something like provide only the best a d freshest ingredients in a sparkling clean environment. Y’all should take that sign down...
Read moreNot sure what to say. Daughter and I stopped by after picking her up at DFW, heading back to Oklahoma.
Ordered a small guacamole with the chips. I order a chile relleno dinner just rice, daughter ordered chicken enchiladas with salsa verde sauce. Side of two tamales w/no sauce. Was going to split.
Finally got one small 1oz scoop of guacamole after asking a few times (was not the appetizer we asked for). Brought our food and they brought me a tamale dinner with rice and beans, her chicken enchiladas with no sauce. I explained I didn’t order that. I had cut into the tamales to see if it was a pepper and it was as hard as a piece of wood. She finally brought out one chile relleno with no sides. I asked for the rice, which was brought out later and the tamales. She said “they’re warming up”. 10 mins later, she brought out flour tortillas. I had to explain, those are tamales. She looked extremely confused.
She was a really sweet young lady but the food was horrific and service… just completely lost. Literally the worst Tex-Mex I’ve had in my 49 years. Taco Bell is a way better option. Giving it 2 stars because the server was really sweet. Otherwise,...
Read moreI used to love this place, best Mexican food for the price. The last couple of years it has been hit or miss, mostly bad or wrong then good. Last night we decided to try again and again it was mostly meh. My final.straw was my sour cream chicken enchiladas (my fav) I bit into it and it was beef not chicken so I called to find out why. The girl who answered the phone was very nice but the man she asked why was very rude and was ju at matter of fact that he ran out of chicken and sub the beef. I completely understand running out and making do, but I would have preferred that they tell me they ran out and give me the option to change my order. I feel like that is just poor customer derive. BTW sour cream beef enchiladas ARE NASTY! I am done with Child is I have given you multiple chance to get back to the amazing restaurant you used to be. God's luck but I...
