We live pizza (I mean who doesn’t!). We usually get from Palio’s which is just down the road, but decided to venture out to Romano’s. They didn’t have online ordering so we had to order through the phone. Had to try a couple of times before someone answered. Ordering through the phone was easy though. The person who answered was kind enough to let me ask him questions.
We ordered a pizza with 2 toppings, and the twisted bread, as it was highly recommended. My kid absolutely loved the twisted bread, but I found it too hard. The bread was over proofed and was dense, tasted good though. The garlic butter was the most delicious, my kiddo wanted to ‘drink’ it. The pizza was good, and tasted alright. It wasn’t the best, but not as bad as Dominos or Pizza Hut. It had a good taste, wish they had more options for sauces on their pizza. Might go back there, as they the taste, quality, and quantity is good...
Read moreRomanos is an awesome experience for anyone who loves pizza, calzones, and the 80’s. The food is exceptionally good, the service and hospitality of the workers is excellent. The pizzeria is full of 80’s memorabilia and tons of classic arcade cabinets which are free to play. The pizza is all really good, but in my opinion the real star of the show is their calzones, their calzones range from small too extra large. We got their medium size calzones which are enough to feed up to 2 to 3 people! Another thing to mention is the location it’s right next to an open field and a park to have a nice picnic, including a little roofed area with picnic tables underneath. I also got the high score on Pac-Man so if anyone beats me while your there let me know and I will be back...
Read moreThis place is great for many reasons. First and foremost: the pizza. The crust is what sets them apart from anyone else. The sauce compliments the pizza as a whole very well. The cheesey garlic bread is great, too. Further proof of Romano's greastness is the staff. Very laid back and friendly yet still professional. Instead of ordering ahead of time walk in to place your order. Play some of the free old school arcade games while you wait, just like old times. Anyone who complains about the hours of operation miss the point of Romano's all together. This is what small town restaurants are like. They aren't dominos or the hut, they are in a league much higher than them and for good reason. I've eaten there for the last 15 years and look forward to many...
