Rising Sun Chinese Food — Restaurant in Lake Forest

I have the gift vouchers that can be used in 99 locations in Lake Forest, CA. I noticed that Rising Sun Chinese food restaurant is one of them. After visiting the OC library at Foothill Ranch, I took my family to dine in on Saturday.

It is the small business and I like to support because the front desk staff is very friendly. We ordered the following items for 5 people (3 adults and 2 kids).

Thai Curry Chicken ($13.65) with rice Happy Family ($14.95) with rice Salty & Pepper Pork Chop($14.95) with rice

We waited 20 minutes and were surprised to see the big portion size of Salty & Pepper Pork Chop. My kids liked Thai Curry chicken a lot. We were satisfied with the entrees we ordered.

The only thing I don't like is that the restroom is not open for the customers.

If you would like to buy lunch or dinner to go , Rising Sun is a good one to begin with. Just give it a try with 3 entrees I mentioned above. You won't feel disappointed.

Food: Every bite was amazing. We ordered the salt and pepper fish and general chicken. It was the perfect amount of spice and not too salty! This restaurant truly deserves five stars. This is the best Chinese food we have ever had in California!! We recently moved out here from New York, and we were just about to give up on finding a good Chinese restaurant out here. I’m so glad we found this place. The pork fried rice was amazing and cooked by Wok not steamed, the general Tso’s chicken was fresh and cooked perfectly with just the right amount of crust and the perfect color, and the Lo Mein noodles were fat with just the perfect amount of sauce.
