My wife and I recently visited the Habit Burger in Lake Havasu City and, unfortunately, had an experience that left much to be desired. On our visit yesterday, we ordered two combo meals: 1. A medium veggie burger with avocado, raw onions, tomato, pickles, lettuce, and cheese, paired with sweet potato fries and an unsweet iced tea. 2. An Impossible patty Swiss char burger with large fries, a diet Pepsi, and an apple pie shake. To our surprise, our total bill came to $42.52, which is excessively high for what we received. The breakdown of our order was puzzling. While the unsweet iced tea was included in the veggie burger meal, the sweet potato fries and diet Pepsi incurred separate charges. When I asked the drive-thru attendant to explain the pricing, she seemed unsure and claimed the computer automatically calculates the prices. Here are the specific issues we encountered: - The veggie burger meal was charged at $17.09. - The shake was approximately $5.99. - The Impossible patty incurred a $1 upcharge, which is understandable, but the overall pricing didn't make sense. - The sweet potato fries were $3.99. - My large diet Pepsi was upcharged at $3.49, adding to the confusion. - The garlic port char burger was $6.99 with a substitution - The total sales tax was $3.37. I questioned the drive-thru attendant about why we were being charged $17.09 for a medium veggie burger meal plus an additional $3.99 for the fries, but she couldn't provide a clear explanation. It seems unreasonable to pay $42.52 for two burgers, two fries, two drinks, and a shake, with the sales tax alone amounting to $3.37. This experience was compounded by a 15-minute wait in the drive-thru, which, while understandable for fresh food, added to our dissatisfaction. While the food at Habit Burger has always been fresh and delicious, the recent pricing practices and unexplained charges have made it an unacceptable option for us. If there were no mistakes in how our order was processed, Habit Burger should reconsider their pricing strategy. The whole point of combo meals is to save a little money, not to be piecemealed with additional charges for items like sweet potato fries. We're submitting our receipt to corporate for an explanation. If we don't get a satisfactory response, we might post our experience on TikTok to highlight what feels like an abuse of consumer trust. It’s disappointing that for the price we paid, we could have had a more consistent and reasonably priced meal at a nearby competitor. At Habit your fries are the same size no matter the meal size btw, just fyi. That's how my order went at least. In conclusion, while Habit Burger’s food quality remains high, the pricing strategy and lack of clarity in charges are unacceptable. I urge others to carefully review the prices and consider whether it seems fair. For now, Habit Burger has made it onto our list of places in Havasu that are too expensive for what they offer. There are plenty of other dining options in town that provide better value for money.

We were visiting Lake Havasu City for one night whilst on vacation from the UK and had been recommended to try the Habit Burger chain of restaurants. It was a Wednesday evening and the restaurant was very quiet. Our order was taken by (if I’m correct) Bailee who was really chatty and helpful in explaining the menu (being from the UK we’re not used to so much choice!). We had a double char burger, a Santa Barbara char meal and a grilled chicken salad. The restaurant was clean and in the 40 Degree Arizona heat, wonderfully cool inside. Our meals arrived in around 5 minutes, were very well presented and looked just like the photos on the menu. My salad was amazing - generous portion of chicken, fresh lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, red onions, grated carrots, plenty of dressing and crispy croutons. My sons both loved their burgers and the onion rings and fries were top notch. We were all very impressed with the whole experience. At around $30 for the three of us it was pretty good value too. I’d certainly visit again next time we’re in LHC.

We saw the restaurant on our way to tour the London Bridge. We decided to have lunch here after looking at other restaurants near the bridge. It was an excellent choice. We love Habit Burger and they did not disappoint. Hecter the counter server was extremely friendly and helpful. It took sbout 10 minutes for our meal. The charbroiled burger and teriyaki burger were yummy as well as the green bean tempura. The drinks are self served at the counter. The interior was neat and clean. The booth seating was comfortable. The restrooms were in the back that were well maintained.

We had just purchased a truck up the road. We were starving and tired so, a bit grouchy and as soon as I walked in and smelled the aroma of food and some sort of cleaning agent, I knew it was gonna get better REALLY FAST for us! Hailee took our orders, and she was WONDERFUL! Patient, calm, very informative and she even offered her advise on more than three items so I was impressed! We finally settled on our choices and then we moved over to the drink bar. IT WAS IMACCULATE! No sticky residue, specialty drink dispensers were filled and THEY HAVE MY CRUNCHIE ICE!!! A young man walked over and asked me if I needed any help or if I had any concerns for him, I asked if he was the manager and he introduced himself as Hector. He was very professional, yet quite welcoming and also seemed to b genuinely interested in my experience. I thanked him and said as soon as we had finished our meal, that I’d let him know what I thought of his store! He giggled and replied, “Please do, and and feel free to be honest with me!” I was surprised because honestly, WHO SAYS THAT AND THEN MEANS IT?? Anyhow our food came out pretty quickly but I wanted to wash my hands and by this point I thought to myself, “ I bet their bathroom needs to be tidied up!” But, I was wrong….. I could sniff that it had recently been gone thru, the sink was dry, all of the supplies were well stocked and even the mirror was wiped clean!! Ok I’m feeling pretty good about our food. I finished up and sat down with my party, the food had arrived and it looked and smelled DELISH! We ordered a cheeseburger, a hamburger, and we split the fried green beans. The beans were cooked just right and still HOT, my cheeseburger looked and tasted great. The green beans tasted just as good as they looked and even my husband, who is a STICKLER was pleased. My tropical tea was wonderful and tasted fresh, his coke was good as usual he said. We ate pretty fast because we still had to finish up paperwork and then grab our keys! I went to the counter and Hector had a to go bag waiting for me with a small container, he again asked, “So, how did we do?” I said to him, “ HONESTLY, I’M SOO PLEASANTLY SURPRISED….. I thought for sure that SOMETHING WAS GONNA NEED FIXING, HOWEVER I WAS VERY WRONG!! And then I asked about the cook for our food, Hector said, “ Her name is Anice, “ and then called out to her! I said, “ Anice, our compliments to the chef, these burgers were delicious, and those green beans were honestly, PERFECT!” She smiled sweetly and then thanked us. I explained that we were pressed for time but asked Hailee to write down their names for me, Inwanted to leave them a review on GOOGLE , if they didn’t mind! All three of them seemed pretty excited, Hailee gave me the info and we left!! Sadly I forgot all about it with the commotion of the paperwork, getting the keys, and then our long drive home!! ( 3 hours!!) My experience was awesome and the next time we r at the lake, I’ll be sure to stop in for a meal, if not a few while we stay in Havasu! HOPEFULLY MANAGEMENT RECOGNIZES THESE 3 IN MY OPINION THIS TEAM IS WHAT MADE OUR EXPERIENCE WHAT IT WAS. And during these times where restaurants r having issues finding decent associates, these 3 are for sure keepers for this company!! In the past I’ve had 4 close friends in management with the HABIT, and I know the extent that the HABIT goes through as far as taking care of their team members!! I’ve heard nothing but great things about the company, and I can see how their training and treatment of their associates goes a long way!! A happy employee = HAPPY, SATISFIED CUSTOMERS AS WELL AS RETURN CUSTOMERS!! The PALO VERDE STORE IS...
